Anima in Escola B. e S. Henrique Sommer (Portugal)!

<07-11-2023> Anima has visited Escola B. e S. Henrique Sommer from Agrupamento de Escolas da Maceira, in Portugal on 7th November 2023. Our international relationships member, Ms. Mariana Quintanilha, was invited to spread our messages about animals and Nature Conservation. Ideas were shared through an app on the phone, projecting wild animals inside all the classrooms and showing how to help us helping animals in the wild. 47 people attended the event! Our heartfelt thanks to all participants and volunteers for the commitment and support to our mission! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Anima–2021 Fundraising for Homeless Animals!

<01-12-2021> Anima will hold a raffle ticket fundraising activity from now until February 28th, 2022. All proceeds will be directly donated to Anima. The amount will allow us to continue promoting animal protection and welfare for over 700 animals living in our shelters (such as purchasing food and veterinary expenses), as well as supporting about 350 animals registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP), so that Anima can continue providing food, veterinary care and neutering/spaying services for the animals living out of its shelters. Each raffle ticket costs MOP20 only. This fundraising activity will start on December 1st, 2021 and will end on February 28, 2022. After the fundraising activities, Anima will hold a lucky draw at Cats’ Paradise on March 1st, 2022. The winners list will be announced on Anima’s website and Facebook pages on March 3rd, 2022. Anima in MGE International Marathon Carnival!

<29-11-2021> Anima accepted the kind invitation of Galaxy Macau and joined the Opening Ceremony of the ‘Macau Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon Carnival’. As part of this initiative, Anima's Charity Sale Booth was set at Broadway Macau and will remain open from 29th November to 3rd December, from 17:00-21:00 and 4th December, from 12:00-22:00. Anima at CEM’s Event “Green Movie Screening”!

<21-11-2021> Today, Anima attended CEM’s Green Movie Screening - A Glimmer of Hope for the Climate Crisis. The event took place at the outdoor venue of Macau Holy House of Mercy and around 90 people were present. The initiative counted with a charity sale of potted plants and souvenirs. A generous amount of MOP 4,473 was raised to Anima! The proceeds will help us in our efforts saving the homeless dogs. We are grateful to CEM for another great initiative! Anima in ‘Mês da Divulgação Jurídica destinada a jovens’!

<13-11-2021> Anima attended the closing ceremony of the ‘Mês da Divulgação Jurídica destinada a jovens’, within the scope of the activity “Novo Espaço para a Generalização do Direito 2021”. The event took place at the auditorium of Saint Paul School and around 100 people were present. The initiative intended to reinforce youth's awareness of legal knowledge and compliance with the law. It was organized by the interdepartmental monitoring group of "Política de Juventude", consisting of twelve government departments: IAM, DSEJ, DSEDT, DSAJ, DSAL, CPSP, SPU, PJ, IC, IAS, SS and DSPA.
