Anima in Martin and Ricky’s Wedding!

ANIMA- Charity Movie Show donates to Anima!

<15-08-2016> The “Star Rise Cultural and Creative Association” will hold a charity movie show on 25 August 2016 (Thursday) at 7pm at Cinema Alegria. The movie “Dogs without names” will be shown and 50% of the net profit of the event will be donated to ANIMA. The rest will be donated  to other volunteer groups who help animals. “Dogs without names” is a Japanese movie produced by a director Akane Yamanda who made the movie a docu-drama. Her dog “Summer” died in sickness and she was very sad. At that time, she wanted to do something to help dogs in her life. From 2010, she made a documentary video regarding the animal shelters in Japan, especially the countless lost dogs and cats in 20 kilometres “red zone” around the Fukushima nuclear disaster. Anima – Donation from Estrela do Mar School!

<20-07-2016> Anima was invited to participate on 8th July 2016, in the event E-Memory, organized by the students of the School Estrela do Mar, in Macau. The event began at around 5:30 pm with around 100 students in the beginning, and as usual the speeches came first: by the Principal of the school, followed by our President and Ms. Paulina Luk, our Executive Director. Our messages were about animals, our code of ethics and how can they help us helping the animals! All the event was totally organized by the students with a lot of music. The net income of the event, included the moneys deposited in our donation box, all amounting MOP 2,449.90 was donated to Anima by the students’ decision! Thanks for your strong support! Anima – We have visited the Macau Portuguese School!

Anima has visited on 30th June 2016, at 10:00 am, the Macau Portuguese School (Escola Portuguesa de Macau) invited by Prof. Zélia de Oliveira Baptista. The kids have organized an event in May and have collected a donation to Anima. We agreed to pay a visit to them with four of our animals to collect the donation and to thank all of them for this precious support. It was a nice event where the kids show their love to the animals, and a good perception about the rights of the animals! Thank you Prof. Zélia, all teachers that joint us and all kids that enjoyed the experience! Thank you for trusting us and supporting our work! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. ANIMA-Albergue SCM helps Anima!

Albergue SCM opened to the public its “Wishing Well” on 5th February 2016, and the coins thrown inside were promised to Anima. Two donation boxes were also there, one near the wishing well and another inside the art gallery! We collected the donation box near the wishing well with a total amount of MOP 13,171.90!
