Anima – Adopt or get adopters and you will be rewarded!

This is a revised version of our new campaign for adoption and will replace all other previous advertisements! Anima is launching a monthly adoption reward, beginning today! Lucky draws will take place on the first Sunday of every month at 4:00 pm in Anima headquarters, beginning on 6th December! 1. If you are not Anima staff and you are able to get one adopter for one of our dogs or two adopters for our cats, you will be entitled to get a coupon for a lucky draw prize of MOP 5,000 in cash. Anima – October Adoption Day

Anima has an adoption day outside Anima on the last Sunday of every month. Around 76 people have visited! Anima was supported in this event by six volunteers, Diana, Alex, Christine, Teresa, Shirley and Chole Lei and we took six of our dogs. Today, in Anima and in the adoption day, we received one application for member, one application for godparent, six applications for adopting dogs and two applications for adopting cats. The Facts of Canidrome: Why Canidrome must close? What Anima will do to save those animals?

Join us in our Candlelight Vigil on 30th September in  front of the Government Palace  in Nam Van Lakes, from 8 pm to 10 pm!  Do you know that the Canidrome kills 30 dogs every month, majority healthy animals because they are not competitive? Caro Amigo, Por favor ajude-nos a fechar o Canidromo! Sabia que qualquer galgo que é trazido para Macau para correr está condenado a morrer? Sim, é exactamente assim. Centenas de galgos são importados da Australia todos os anos para serem usados e abusados pelo Canidromo e nenhum sai de lá vivo! Candlelight Vigil for Closing the Canidrome!

Dear friend, Please Help us to Close the Canidrome! Did you know that every dog that is brought here to race is doomed to die? That's right, several hundred greyhounds are imported from Australia every year to be used and abused at the Canidrome racetrack each year and not one of them gets out alive. Thankfully, we now have an extraordinary opportunity to shut down the worst dog track in the world. But we need your help to do it! Please help us to help them! Participate in our Candlelight Vigil on September 30th from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm across the road from the Macau Government Palace (on the side of Nam Van Lakes). PLEASE HELP US END THE SUFFERING OF OUR GREYHOUNDS ! If you are an animal lover or if you respect the rights of the animals, please put an end to a business that is shaming all of us and hurting animals that run for their life and not for fun! We trust you! Canidrome has to be closed this year! Please sign our petition online in animamacau.org ! On 24 July we delivered to the Macau Government a petition with 276,278 on-line supporters and 2,921 signatures collected in the streets in two months! Seminar “Understand your Animal Companion”

A group of friends of Anima has decided to run on this September 12th in Anima, a seminar “introducing how energy and Animal Communication benefit to both owners/carers and animal companion and why dog training is necessary too. The group wants in this seminar to let the public know the art of living with animals”.
