Anima–March Rescue (B205-Daffy)!

<31-03-2021> B205-Daffy, a baby dove, was rescued by Anima on 31st March 2021, following a call from Ms. Sou reporting that a baby bird was found near L'Arch Hotel unable to fly. Ms. Sou kindly helped us sending the bird to a private clinic and Daffy is now hospitalized receiving treatment. Thanks, Ms. Sou! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima–March Rescue (2355-Wong Chai)!

<30-03-2021> On 23rd March 2021, Anima was informed that a dog, 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was being kept inside a small cage in a corridor at Ed. Ip Heng, Seac Pai Van. Wong Chai had been there already for several days and the owner had refused to bring him inside his apartment, even under police request. Our team was mobilized and contacted I.A.M. The area was found with poor hygiene. With the help of I.A.M. inspectors, the dog was rescued on the same day and taken to Macau Municipal Kennel. Today, Wong Chai’s property was transferred to Anima! He will be welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter later this week. Thank you for the support, I.A.M.! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Rescue (SPP710-Pac Sa)!

<30-03-2021> SPP710-Pac Sa (F), around 11 years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2021, after receiving a call from IAM reporting that SPP710-Pac Sa was send to Macau kennel because she was not feeling well. In I.A.M., blood test results showed that she is anemic. Physical body check found an external vaginal infection and she was also tested positive for Babesia Canis and B. Gibsoni. According to the vets, it was prescribed medicine and treatment. One more vet suspect that Pac Sa has severely high hemolysis She will be staying in a clinic for a few days, under medical observation and health care. Thanks, IAM! Never Abandon your pets! <27-03-2021> CH006-Joltik (F), a chinchilla around two or three months old, was rescued by Anima on 27th March, 2021 following a facebook message from Mr. Jerry reporting to have found a chinchilla abandoned in a tiny cage inside a plastic bag near Taipa’s Nam San Building. Anima–December Abandonment (C2442-Aladdin)!

<07-12-2020> C2442-Aladdin (M), around one and a half year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that there was an abandonment of a cat (British Shorthair) because the owner could not afford vet expenses as C2442-Aladdin has kidney problems and might need a surgery later. C2442-Aladdin was licensed in Macau Kennel today, received the rabies vaccination and he was sent to a clinic for further examination. An ultrasound image indicated that urinary crystals were forming in the urine which then irritate the bladder lining and causing a blockage. Anima–Rescue and Abandonment (C2417-Nena)!

  <15-10-2020> C2417-Nena (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 15th October 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong referring that a cat had fell into the patio on the 1st floor of Edf. Mayfair Court in Rua de Francisco António. An Elderly lady with wheelchair is living there and both, the security and Ms. Wong, know she is unable to have pets. Rescue team was sent to the site and informed Ms. Wong to contact fire department and IAM. On the way, ANIMA also contacted IAM asking for their assistance in searching if the cat has an owner. When Anima arrived the firemen already had caught the cat. C2417-Nena was sent to Macau Kennel for an urgent X-ray. Results showed a fracture in the pelvis. Anima- July Rescue (1105, 1106)!

<27-07-2020> 1105-Leila (F) and 1106-Yodell (M), both around seven and a half years old, were rescued by Anima on 27th July 2020, after a call from IAM informing that Leila and Yodell were abandoned in Macau Kennel by the adopter. Both were de-sexed and vaccinated in the kennel. 1105-Leila (F) and 1106-Yodell are welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima and IAM cooperate to save as many animals as possible. Thanks, IAM! Anima–July Rescue (C2372-Yacob)!

<25-07-2020> C2372-Yacob (M), around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 25th July 2020 after being found abandoned in front of Cat’s Paradise entrance gate in the early morning. He was not microchipped and was left with one bag of dry cat food, one bag of cat sand and a comb. A letter was found telling that Yacob was under the guard of a solitary old man who just passed away. The abandoner cannot take care of him anymore and want us to find a new home for him. Anima–July Rescue (2294-Hua Hua)!

<05-07-2020> 2294-Hua Hua (M), around two years and six months old now, was rescued by Anima on 5th July 2020, after Ms. Hsieh informing that she is not capable to take care of him anymore as she has to go back to her country due to the Coronavirus outbreak. 2294-Hua Hua originally lived in the trail of A-Ma Cultural Village (Coloane) with his mother and siblings since 2018, when he was a puppy and they were fed by our Rescue Team and Ms. Hsieh every day. Later, when 2294-Hua Hua was two months old, he was rescued by a foreigner lady in the trail who brought him home. The lady posted the information of 2294-Hua Hua on Facebook and tried to find a family for him. Anima–June Return (C2080-Zenov)!

<25-06-2020> C2080-Zenov (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima along with his mother C2078-Zora and his sister C2079-Zena on 27th January 2019, after being found by Ms. Mak, near S. Lourenço Municipal Market Complex. All of them stayed in our Cats’ Paradise. Zenov was adopted on 20th April 2019! Today, Anima received a call from the adopter of C1942-Starfruit and C2080-Zenov, reporting that the family cannot keep C2080-Zenov anymore. She mentioned that he cries many times causing sleepless night for the family and neighbors have been complaining as well. Also, Zenov does not let the family to carry him and when he plays with Starfruit, he causes severe injuries that the other cat needed to go to a clinic several times. Desex was suggested by Anima, but it was not a solution for him as Zenov’s behavior didn’t improve much after surgery. C2080-Zenov was returned to our Cats’ Paradise today! Please...
