Anima–May Sad News (C1533-Galina)!

<26-05-2017> C1533-Galina (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on the 13th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar from Anihelp, informing that he has rescued C1533-Galina near Iao Hon Market in the morning and has delivered her to a clinic for consultation as she was very weak. C1533-Galina was dehydrated and with low temperature, and was hospitalized in the clinic the night before for IV Dripping and observation. C1533-Galina was collected by Anima and was staying in V6 continuing with the treatment. Unfortunately she entered in suffer and nobody could help her. By our Code of Ethics, after a favorable vet opinion, two board members of Anima approved to put her sleeping, the last one the President. She was euthanized on 26th May 2017! R.I.P. my friend! Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (SPP1895-Barbie)!

<23-05-2017> SPP1895-Barbie (F), around four years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on the 23rd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that a dog (SPP1895-Barbie) was in a construction site next to Pou Tai Un Monastery and was hit by a car, seeming paralyzed. Barbie was send to a clinic for consultation and X-ray check. SPP1895-Barbie had severe spinal fracture and a lump in the anal gland and she was in great pain and suffering and nothing could be done to help her. After a call to Mr. Chan explaining the situation, a favorable opinion of the vet who saw her and two Anima board members approval, the last one the President of Anima, Barbie was euthanized. <16-05-2017> 1894-Roddie (M), with an estimated age of one year old, was rescued by Anima, after a call from Mr. Carvalhais of ARTM, already completed destroyed by a truck, on 16th May 2017, near Ka-Ho. Anima–May Rescue and Sad News (C1537-Tolina)!

<17-05-2017> C1537-Tolina (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 17th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Lou, informing that he had found a kitten, C1537-Tolina, lying on the ground in Pátio do Comandante Mata e Oliveira. She was brought to Anima and checked by out vet. C1537-Tolina was crying in pain when checking with an internal injury and bleeding. She was full of fleas with hypothermia, anemic and jaundice. She had an ocular and yellowish nasal discharge, suffering from upper respiratory infection. C1537-Tolina passed away half an hour after arriving Anima, still during the examination. Thanks Mr. Lou! <11-05-2017> SPP661-Siu Hac (M), around 15 years old, was rescued by Anima on 11h May 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng, reporting that SPP661-Siu Hac, under our Special Protection Program for many years, was very weak yesterday, refusing to eat and with hard breathing. <04-05-2017> C1508-Jewel (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th April 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, reporting that a kitten, C1508-Jewel, was found in Rua de Malaca, near Golden Dragon Macau, and was sick. He asked us to help. C1508-Jewel was checked by our vet and de-wormed. She was dehydrated and had low temperature. C1508-Jewel was staying in V6 under treatment. She died this afternoon! Anima- April Sad News (C944-Cayla)!

C954-Cato and C955-Cayla were rescued by Anima on 22nd May 2015, after a call from Mrs. Hui reporting that Cato and Cayla (the mother) were part of a group of seven cats living in a construction site. People there seemed not happy seeing community members feeding the animals. She was also worried the workers will poison the remaining two as three already have disappeared suddenly. <28-04-2017> SPPC1022-Reeze, was rescued by Anima through Michele on 18th August 2015, and was under our special protection program from that time. She was pregnant! SPPC1022-Reese was found deceased this morning in C9. She was staying in C9 for observation since coming from our clinic on 1st April 2017. <24-04-2017> SPPC1494-Twiz (M), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 12th April 2017, somewhere in Taipa. He was skinny and seemed sick. He was checked by out vet and was staying now in V6 under IV dripping and closed observation. SPPC1494-Twiz was anemic and dehydrated with gingivitis, renal and liver problems. Anima- April Sad News (SPP1142-Leng Mui)!

<17-04-2017> SPP1142-Leng Mui, around four years and three months old,  was living in Coloane Kennel,  from 6th October 2013, under the management of Anima. By an agreement between IACM and Anima, all dogs living in Coloane Kennel are handled by Anima and no one is killed! IACM has there 33 dogs and all are kept alive by this agreement. IACM provides the food and medical care and Anima the staff. SPP1142-Leng Mui passed away in Coloane Kennel last night. According to our staff her spirit and appetite were good a day before. We suspect that Leng Mui may have died of heart attack. Leng Mui was one dog that was handled in the past in a construction site by Anita Yip, a well known Macau animal activist that asked our support as the site was closing. Some of her dogs have moved to Coloane Kennel! She will keep the ashes of Leng...
