Anima–August Sad News (410-Sandy)!

<23-08-2022> 410-Sandy (F), one of our eldest dogs in the shelter has been with us for long time. She got worst recently and today she was found passed away in her pen place. Seems to have a bloated abdomen and according with a vet she died from gastric and vulvic dilation (GVD). Her body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friends! Please Adopt and Never Buy! Anima–August Sad News (531-Hac Sa)!

<15-08-2022> 531-Hac-Sa (M), one of our senior dogs, got sick recently. He was found not very active, with no appetite and getting worse. This morning he refused to eat and vomited some yellowish fluids. 531-Hac-Sa was imediately sent to a clinic. Unfortunately, Anima was later informed that he passed away in the clinic. 531-Hac-Sa had a serious heart disease and, together with an advanced age not much could be done. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–August Sad News (398, C1903)!

<06-08-2022> Sadly, two of our fury friends left us today! 398-Tony (M, 14yrs old) was rescued by us in 2009. Our old Tony was diagnosis with malignancy on the head, and he was under treatment. However, the tumor got bigger and bigger. Recently we found that Tony’s eyes were reddish so we sent him to the vet clinic for checkup. According to the vet, the tumor has spread to the eyes area and was erupted too, the condition was really worse. Sadly, today Tony passed away! C1903-Snowie (F, 8yrs old) was rescued nearby Rua da Gamboa by Anima. In early August, Snowie was found weak than before, she was sent to the vet clinic for further check-up. The vet said Snowie has very high kidney indexes and serious heart problem, and she needed to be hospitalized. But there’s no improvement of her condition. We were informed by the...

Anima–August Sad News (C2147-Lulu)!

<02-08-2022> C2147-Lulu (F, 4yrs old) was rescued from Macau kennel in June 2019. In mid-April this year, Lulu was found very skinny, she was sent to the vet clinic for check-up. According to the vet, Lulu has inflammation of gallbladder and bloody abdominal fluid. Since Lulu was in good spirit, she was returned to Anima for further treatment. Lulu has taken medication for more than a month. Sadly this morning she passed away. Anima will miss her smile and companionship. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <10-07-2022> FM003-Eesley gave birth to FM005-Patty, FM006-Olga, FM007-Fred, FM008-Gaston and FM009-Odett on 23rd March 2020. Fancy mouses have a short lifespan, like other rodents. Anima–July Rescue and Sad News (C2721-Blake)!

<01-07-2022> C2721-Blake (M), around four and a half years old, was rescued after a call from Mrs. Lo reporting that a sick cat was found in Rua Kun Iam Tong. She asked us for help. Anima lent a carrier for her to handle the cat until arrive to a vet clinic in Macau. According to one vet, Blake was anemic, he had jaundice and needed to stay under veterinary supervision in the clinic. Medical exams tested positive for Feline Coronavirus, which could develop for FIP. After all medical efforts, the clinic reported us this morning that C2721-Blake passed away. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–June Sad News (1758-Batman)!

<29-06-2022> 1758-Batman (M), a black adult dog was abandoned on 3rd July 2016. Under heavy rain he might got scared and escaped from his place. He was found near Anima, in the road Altinho de Ka-Ho which is a very dangerous road. He spent time near the cars around the water reservoir. Our rescue team slowly got his confidence and rescued him. 1758-Batman is living in Anima since that day! Today, our staff found him passed away, due to a cardiac arrest. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–June Sad News (C1348-Mini)!

<17-06-2022> C1348-Mini (M), with an estimated age of three months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 3rd December 2016, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a kitten was found falling down from the terrace in Rua de Camilo Pessanha. Mini was sent to a clinic for further examination and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise after recover. Recently, C1348-Mini got skinny and sick. Blood test results showed a liver failure. During treatments in a clinic, she passed away. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–June Sad News (C2469-Pontus)!

<08-06-2022> The cats, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats. They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C2469-Pontus got skinny. Blood test results showed an inflammation and a kidney failure. On the way to a vet clinic, Pontus passed away.
