<19-02-2022> Sadly, our dog 873-Ringo has passed away. Ringo was living in our shelter since 2012 and was now 10 years old. Anima–February Sad News (154-Jagra)!

<17-02-2022> 154-Jagra (F), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima for many years. Recently, she got sick, having difficulty standing and walking. Jagra was sent to a clinic for consultation. Her blood test results indicated that she had slightly infection and anemia. An X-Ray Examination revealed that her right side of the kidney have a tumoral abscess. Unfortunately, and despite our efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM for cremation. Please, help us giving them an opportunity to be adopted before it is too late! Anima–February Sad News (584-Nocas)!

<14-02-2022> 584-Nocas (F), one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima for many years. Recently, she got sick and was sent to a clinic for consultation. 584-Nocas has been hospitalized in a clinic since 8th February 2022. Her blood test results indicated that she was suffering from kidney failure and need to be under treatment. An ultrasound examination showed a mass in her spleen and suspect it's a tumor. Unfortunately, and despite our efforts, she did not survive, and her body will be delivered in IAM. Please, help us giving them an opportunity to be adopted before it is too late! Anima–February Sad News (T026-Molly)!

<12-02-2022> Our turtle T026-Molly (F) was rescued by Anima on the September 8, 2019, when she was around five years old. The person who abandoned her sent us an e-mail back then claiming that she had grown too big for his aquarium. Molly was then welcomed into Cat’s Paradise. Sadly, after three years of a healthy life at our pond, Molly passed away this afternoon. R.I.P., our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–February Sad News (215-Peter)!

<10-02-2022> 215-Peter (M), one of our senior dogs and rescued by Anima long time ago, got sick recently. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, his blood test’s results showed a little anemic and an infection. Pancreatitis test result was positive. Also, an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in the lumbar spine was making him uncapable to move his legs. 215-Peter was hospitalized, and he stood under treatment for each problem. Unfortunately, despite our efforts and from the clinic, they called us to inform that he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM. Anima–February Sad News (C2694-Benz)!

<02-02-2022> C2694-Benz (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 31st January 2022, after a fakebook message from Mr. António referring that he picked up a kitten in the middle of Friendship Bridge and kept him temporarily inside his car. He asked us help. The kitten was picked up by our rescue team and sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, C2694-Benz was breathing with difficulty. Blood tests showed anemia, inflammation, and jaundice. Also, an X-ray showed some shadows on his right lung, suspected from a pulmonary hemorrhage. All were rescued and sent immediately to a vet clinic. C2694-Benz will be hospitalized until recover. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be delivered in IAM. Anima–January Sad News (C1991-Machau)!

<20-01-2022> C1991-Machau (M), around two years old and C1992-Marissa (F), around one year old back then, were rescued by Anima on 6th September 2018, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. All of them were licensed, desexed and vaccinated at IACM. Anima and IACM sometimes cooperate to save as many animals as possible! They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. <12-01-2022> The cats, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats.
