Anima–November Sad News (302-Gigi)!

<20-11-2021> Sadly, our dog 302-Gigi has passed away. Gigi was almost 14 years old and had been living in our shelters since 2008. Between several health issues, she was suffering from a tumor in the gastrointestinal tract. Despite all medical care, Gigi didn’t survive. RIP, our old friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Sad News (H069-Pitaya)!

<18-11-2021> H063-Peach (F), H064-Loquat (F), H065-Carambola (F), H066-Rose (F), H067-YangMei (F), H068-Chayote (F) and H069-Pitaya (F), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 12th June 2020, from Macau Kennel. They were rescued by I.A.M on 31st May, a case referral by Departamento Policial das Ilhas - Comissariado de Coloane, regarding those 7 hamsters were found abandoned on the side of the road at Seac Pai Van near a Bus Stop in a plastic box. Also, H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that 8 hamsters were found abandoned at the same place. Anima–November Sad News (H046-Coconut)!

<16-11-2021> H044-Kiwi (F), around 2 months old, was rescued on 28th January 2020 from youngster Kenji, who claimed to have 28 hamsters and had mixed the males and females together. She gave birth at least to 7 baby hamsters, H046-Coconut, H047-Grapes, H048-Morango, H049-Lime, H050-Banana, H051-Star Fruit and H052-Pomegranate. They were all kept in our Dogs’ Shelter. Anima–November Sad News (896-Vivian)!

<10-11-2021> 896-Vivian (F), with an estimated age of eleven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 18th September 2012, together with her family, total of a group of 25 dogs that were all abandoned in Macau Kennel. The owner didn’t neuter his dogs and let the family grew until that huge amount. Finally, when he couldn’t handle and never asked for help, he just abandoned them all in Macau Kennel without any responsibility. On that time Anima decided to take over all 25 dogs. 896-Vivian became sick and staying in our vet area for some days. She had diarrhea and severe dehydration. A lot of giardiasis was found from her stool. She was found unable to move and weak yesterday. She was taking medication, but she didn’t improve at all and begin to enter in suffer! After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision...

Anima–November Sad News (C2172-Matteo)!

<06-11-2021> Sadly, our cat C2172-Matteo has passed away. Matteo was suffering from several health issues, including severe kidney problems. Despite the ongoing medical care, his health condition continued to deteriorate. Following veterinary advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Matteo was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten his agony. RIP, our dear friend! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescued and Deceased (C2651-Honest)!

<31-10-2021> C2651-Honest (M), a cat around six months old, was rescued yesterday by Anima, after a call from Mr. Ehrlich reporting to have seen a sick cat on the pathway behind the bus stop of Macau University Campus. Our team was mobilized immediately and found him weak and with deep wounds on his neck and leg. Honest stayed hospitalized in a clinic overnight but, sadly, has passed away today. R.I.P.! Anima-October Rescue and Sad News (C2650-Creamy)!

<28-10-2021> C2650-Creamy (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 28th October 2021, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that that a cat, C2650-Creamy falling from heights at Travessa da Corda, Edf. Fok Neng. According to Mr. Wong, there is a witness who was parking the motorcycle in that area and saw the cat fell off from the building of Edf. Fok Neng. Unfortunately, C2650-Creamy was passed away before our Rescue Team arrived. Her nose and mouth were bleeding.
