Anima–October Sad News (C2646-Yanny)!

<21-10-2021> Four more newborn kittens were rescued by Anima! C2644-Kimiko, C2645-Yamy, C2646-Yanny, C2647-Nikky, all females around one day old, were rescued by Anima on 17th October 2021. We received a call from Mr. Choi, reporting that four kittens were found in the bushes of Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Garden in the morning. Without their mother, they seemed fragile and need protection. They were rescued by our team and temporarily fostered by our staff for milk feeding and special care. However, C2647-Nikky got very sick and went to a clinic. She passed away today due to pneumonia, according to the vet. R.I.P. our friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-October Sad News (C1235-Coal)!

<15-10-2021> C1235-Coal (M), around two years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she used to feed four cats in a temple, but the monks and nuns are not friendly to the cats, they were also not allowed to let her to feed them. One of the cats was pregnant and we lent a trap for Ms. Chan to catch them. C1235-Coal was caught and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–October Sad News (C2638-Basia)!

<11-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. C2638-Basia passed away today, in the afternoon. Anima–October Sad News (C1929-Jax)!

<07-10-2021> C1929-Jax (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th July 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for cats. He was neutered, vaccinated, and received microchips at IAM, being well received later in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1929-Jax got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, C1929-Jax suffers already from kidney’s failure. Ultrasound results showed their malfunction and there was no possibility for a surgery as he was too weak and could not survive to anesthesia. <05-10-2021> Our fancy mouse, FM003-Eesley, gave birth to FM005-Patty, FM006-Olga, FM007-Fred, FM008-Gaston and FM009-Odett. All of them were healthy and stay in Anima to be adopted later. Anima–October Sad News (670-Wu Chai)!

<01-10-2021> Recently, our senior male dog 670-Wu Chai got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, 670-Wu Chai has a gallbladder disease, liver problem and a tumor within the spleen. Blood test results indicated that he has jaundice and the most important thing to do is treating his gallbladder disease (Choleretic) and liver Problem first. Anima–September Sad News (C1770-Burnley)!

<27-09-2021> C1762-Everton (M), C1763-Brington (M), C1764-Chelsea (F), C1765-Swansea (F), C1766-Crystal (F), C1767-Norwich (M), C1768-Leicester (F), C1769 -Manchester (M), C1770-Burnley (F), C1771-Arsenal (M), C1772-Liverpool (M) and C1773-Tottenham (F), were rescued by Anima on 16 November 2017, after a call from the IAM mentioning that they had no more space for cats. They were all vaccinated by the IAM and later observed by our veterinarian. All were welcome in our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C1770-Burnley became ill, and she has been getting worse since august. Having already undergone several health examinations, treatments and no improvements, the opinion of both veterinarians and management will be to end her suffering so that she can rest in peace. Anima–September Sad News (FM008-Gaston)!

<27-09-2021> A family of three fancy mouses, the mother, FM001-Haisley (F), around one year old, the father, FM002-Harper (M), around one year old and the baby, FM003-Eesley (F), around 3 months old, were rescued by Anima on 7th March 2020, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that he found three fancy mouses abandoned near a public garbage bin at R. Nova da Areia Preta (Nam Wa San Chun). He asked us to help. On 16th March 2020, FM001-Haisley gave birth to FM004-Evelyn and the baby passed away two days later in our Dogs’ Shelter. FM003-Eesley gave birth to FM005-Patty, FM006-Olga, FM007-Fred, FM008-Gaston and FM009-Odett. All of them are healthy and stay in ANIMA for now until can be adopted! Recently, FM008-Gaston (M) got sick and have serious breathing problems. Today in the clinic where he was hospitalized, FM008-Gaston passed away. According with one vet, it was due to pneumonia. Anima–September Sad News (SPP2240-Ah Wong)!

<24-09-2021> SPP2240-Ah Wong (M), around 13 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020. He was under Mr. O's responsibility in Templo de A-Ma (Barra). Anima was informed by Mr. O that SPP2240- Ah Wong was weak, lethargic, and not eating at all. SPP2240-Ah Wong was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test results indicated that he has amenia. X-Ray Examination and Ultrasound results were normal. He was tested positive for Canine Ehrlichia (Tick Fever). According to the vet, he might also suffer from an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) as he was unable to stand or walk. SPP2240-Ah Wong was hospitalized in the clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, and despite all medical efforts, he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our old friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets!
