<01-4-2021> A wing of the bird B206-Wax was found by one of our members in Anima on 1st April 2021. The handler of that area reported that the dead body vanished. Everything will be delivered in IAM. Anima–March Sad News (C2564-Tillie)!

<26-03-2021> C2564-Tillie (F), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after receiving a call from Mr. Ho reporting what his colleague told him about a female kitten who was hit by a vehicle this morning and she was put into a paper box near the carpark of Border Gates. The kitten was very aggressive and seemed to have broken her left hind leg. Our Rescue team sent C2564-Tillie directly to a clinic. According to the vet, X-ray scan showed an injure in the lung which was making her have difficulty breathing. She also has a perineal hernia, and her bladder was out of the abdominal cavity. C2564-Tillie was hospitalized for treatment, but despite all medical efforts, she could not survive. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Sad News (601-Fava)!

<25-03-2021> Sadly, 601-Fava (F) has passed away today. Our dog Fava was in our shelter since 2010. Her health deteriorated quickly recently, following the first symptoms of appetite loss. Veterinary doctors found a mass blocking her digestive tract and, despite all medical efforts, Fava wouldn’t survive. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-March Rescue and Sad News (C2553-Fa Mui)!

<18-03-2021> C2553-Fa Mui (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2021, when our rescue team found a dead body of a cat in Estrada de Hac Sa, where the bus stop is located. It was clearly hit by a vehicle as blood was everywhere and the eyes were popped out. The body was collected to be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our dear friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-March Sad News (C2089-Wintor)!

<08-03-2021> C2089-Wintor was found getting skinny on 26th February 2021. His blood test results showed a small infection and he started taking medication. On 1st March 2021, an IAM vet made some clinical tests and Wintor was tested positive for FCov. On 4th March 2021, he was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, many symptoms are related to FIP. Later, the vet also referred that his prognosis was very bad. There were no chances of surviving without a proper quality of life. Although a palliative care could be performed, it was also suggested to euthanize him to end the pain. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, C2089-Wintor did not survive. Anima–March Sad News (877-Lisa)!

<08-03-2021> 877-Lisa (F), one of our dogs rescued long time ago, was found with an abscess on her right hind lower leg, on 24th December 2020. She was under treatment and antibiotics. On 30th December, 877-Lisa was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, the staining microscopy and x-ray results, the abscess could be a tumor or an infection. Hospice care was recommended as she may be near the end of her life. Anima was focus on providing the best quality of life for her with a terminal disease. Yesterday, 877-Lisa was sent to a clinic for further examination. She did a blood test and the result indicated that she has anemia. X-Ray result showed that her intestine is abnormal. In the clinic, they suspected that her tumor might have been spread to her intestines. Today, 877-Lisa passed away due to cancer. R.I.P. our dear friend! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning...

<07-03-2021> Sadly, our kitten C2505-Nugget has passed away. Nugget was just one month old and had been together with her mother and siblings. Nugget was active and didn’t present any signs of sickness. Her mother is now under close observation and the remaining kittens will be fostered by our staff for special care. R.I.P. our dear friend! Anima–February Rescue and Sad News (2344-Poe)!

<04-03-2021> 2344-Poe (F), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2021, after her dead body was found by Mr. Albano in the early morning, lying on the roadside of Estrada de Hac Sa near the Man Hong Yeung villas. Mr. Albano contacted our Rescue team and they immediately collected the body. No blood or visible injuries were found. It was sent directly to I.A.M. for further investigation.
