<23-11-2020> B181-Seac Seac, a spotted dove (Spilopelia chinensis), was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, after our team found his dead body in the middle of the road outside a veterinary clinic in Seac Pai Wan. Anima-November Sad News (C2421-Flynn)!

<14-11-2020> C2421-Flynn (M), rescued on 03/11/2020 when he was only two weeks old, was found dehydrated, malnourished and with a low temperature. We soon realized he was also experiencing diarrhea. Since that day, he had been hospitalized receiving treatment. He would be discharged from the clinic a couple days ago and was fostered by our staff in order to receive special care. Unfortunately, his condition didn’t improve and he passed away at night, despite all our efforts. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <12-11-2020> B179-Boo, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima on 12th November 2020, after our rescue team passed nearby Estr. do Altinho de Ka Ho during their daily feeding activities and saw the dead body of B179-Boo on the floor. <11-11-2020> C438-Mau Mau (M), a senior resident of our Cats’ Paradise, has been with us since 2013. His health condition worsened suddenly this week. Anima-November Sad News (SPPC1431-Jaxson)!

<10-11-2020> SPPC1431-Jaxson (M), eight years and four months old by the time, was under our Special Protection Program and he was rescued by Anima through Michele on 24th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa when he was around five years old. SPPC1431-Jaxson was adopted by Mr. Froseth on 6th July 2020. Mr. Froseth intended to go back to Norway and he wanted to bring SPPC1431-Jaxson with him. Unfortunately, Jaxson became weak with kidney problems and died today. Please accept our condolences, Mr. Froseth! R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (B178-Kirby)!

<10-11-2020> B178-Kirby, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima today, after being found by our rescue team on their way to deliver dog food to Ka Ho workshop. The dove was lying on the road with feathers scattered around surrounded by many dogs. B178-Kirby had a very weak breath and died quickly. His body will be later delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Anima-November Sad News (H034-Cranberry)!

<06-11-2020> H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around three months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old, were rescued by ANIMA on the 30th January 2020, after received a message from Facebook on 27th January, by a 12 years old youngster, Keiji Kester Go Celestina telling that he can’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and they are always fighting. He does not have enough money to buy food for them as well. He asked us to help. We collected them all and they were welcome in our Dog’s Shelter! Today, H034-Cranberry died in his cage and we do not know the cause of death, yet. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (151-Raji)!

<05-11-2020> 151-Raji (M), a senior dog of our shelter with around 15 years old, was suffering from a splenic tumour and kidney problems. A safe surgery would be, unfortunately, hard to accomplish at this point, due to his age and weak health condition. The chances of recovery after surgery are also very low. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Raji was euthanized in a clinic, an effort to shorten his agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-November Sad News (C1625-Sunnie)!

<01-11-2020> C1625-Sunnie (F), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd July 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting to have rescued two cats in Guia Hill, when she heard there were some people poisoning the cats. Initially, she took care of them, for around a month, but she would later find out to suffer from allergies, by which she asked us if we could take them. Sunnie was then welcomed at our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Sunnie had been suffering from kidney and liver problems. Her health worsened severely this last week and her condition was already irreversible. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Sunnie was euthanized in an effort to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
