Anima-September Sad News (C2398-Ludwig)!

<30-09-2020> C2398-Ludwig (M), around 4 months old, was rescued by Anima on 30th September 2020, after he run over by a vehicle in Est. de Seac Pai Van near the 13 Hotel. He didn’t survive and the body was collected by Anima to be delivered in Macau Kenel. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-September Sad News (613-Bruce)!

<27-09-2020> 613-Bruce (F) was in our shelter for almost ten years. Her condition deteriorated steadily after the first signs of health issues, when she started to get thinner. Further examination revealed anemia and early signs of kidney problems. Veterinary doctors also suspected that she could suffer of gastrointestinal disorders, intestinal tumor or Inflammatory Bowel Disease. She was hospitalized in a private clinic for several weeks without encouraging results, despite all efforts. Today, we were informed that Bruce passed away in the clinic. R.I.P., our friend! <23-09-2020> B170-Beth, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima on the 23rd September 2020, after our rescue team reported that they found and collected the body of a dead dove, B170-Beth, in Cheoc Van area, on the place they usually feed our SPP animals. Anima–September Sad News (C1539-Scout)!

<11-09-2020> C1538-Sanna (F) and C1539-Scout (M), around eight months and two years old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 18th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They had microchip, were neutered, properly vaccinated and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1539-Scout was not eating much, losing weight, and started to be dehydrated. He was sent to a clinic, where he stood under treatment. According to the vet, he was getting worst and suffering day by day. Today, Anima was informed that C1539-Scout died in the clinic. Anima-September Sad News (C2135-Icarus)!

<07-09-2020> C2135-Icarus (M), around one year old by the time, was rescued on the 12th June 2019 from the kennel due to lack of space and he was welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise! In August, Icarus was getting skinny and anemic with dry discharge on his face. Blood test results showed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and medication was prescribed. Recently, C2135-Icarus was sent to a clinic where they suspect that he had Feline Infection Peritonitis (FIP). He came back to our Cats’ Paradise and started the treatment with medication. However, C1754- Icarus started to be lethargic, lost appetite and having difficulty breathing today. He was sent to the clinic again for closely observation, but Anima was informed, later that C1754- Icarus passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-September Sad News (C1754-Fairfax)!

<02-09-2020> C1751-Faas (M), C1752-Faddy (M), C1753-Fabienne (F), C1754-Fairfax (M), C1755-Farah (F), C1756-Fedora (F), C1757-Feri (M), C1758-Femke (F) and C1759-Feray (F), were rescued by Anima on 10th November 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. Since 2019, Fairfax has medical history of kidney problems, being anemic and having severe infections sometimes. For long time, he has been under subcutaneous fluids and supplements or medication. C1754-Fairfax passed away in our Cats’ Paradise. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-August Sad News (359-Titan)!

<28-08-2020> 359-Titan (M) is one of Anima’s old dogs in our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, 359-Titan's hindlegs were a bit swollen, refused to eat and later he had difficulty breathing. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. Medical exams’ results revealed that 359-Titan had a pericardial effusion. According to the vet, he has a heart tumor and there is no cure for it. After, consultation and medical prescription he returned to our Dogs’ Shelter to start the treatment. Today, 359-Titan passed away in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-August Sad News (442-Caju)!

<17-08-2020> 442-Caju (M) is one of Anima’s old dogs in our Dog’s Shelter. Recently, 442-Caju was walking abnormally and the both rear legs were weak. He was sent to a clinic for consultation. X-ray results and ultrassound revealed that he had a mass in his liver, probably due to a malignant cancer, along with muscle atrophy. Today, 442-Caju passed away in Anima with around 12 years old. Anima–August Sad News (C1374-Caramel II)!

<16-08-2020> C1374-Caramel II (M), around five years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2017, after a call from Ms. Filipa reporting that she has rescued a cat one and a half years ago in Cheoc Van but was not able to keep him anymore, due to his behavior and aggressiveness. C1374-Caramel II was welcome at our Cats’ Paradise. Meanwhile, Caramel has developed kidney stones on both sides of his kidneys. His health condition, however, didn’t allow us to advance to surgery as he certainly would not endure the anesthesia, according to veterinary doctors. He stayed hospitalized for treatment multiple times, but unfortunately his health didn’t improve. Today, C1374-Caramel has passed away in a clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-August Sad News (B163-Ines)!

<15-08-2020> B163-Ines, a pigeon, was rescued by Anima on 14th August 2020, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that a pigeon was found on the road of Avenida da Concórdia unable to fly. Ines was immediately sent to a clinic, where two pustules were found on its cheek and neck, caused by a virus. Its right hind leg was fractured as well. B163-Ines ended up passing away in the clinic.
