Anima–June Sad News (B153-Morpheus)!

<27-06-2020> B153-Morpheus was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2020, after a call from Mr. Tang saying that a baby swallow was lying on flower bed on Rua do Tap Siac. Rescue team went there and saw a baby bird, B153-Morpheus, which was very small and active but couldn't fly and there were not nests nearby. Our Rescue team sent B153-Morpheus to a clinic for treatment. B153-Morpheus stayed in the clinic under an intensive medical care. Today, Anima was informed that B153-Morpheus was too small and very weak to survive. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-Rescue and sad news (SPP2287-Jessie)!

<26-06-2020> SPP2286-Tiana (F) and a mother dog SPP2287-Jessie (F), both around two years old with her six puppies, SPP2288-Forky (M), SPP2289-Dumbo (M), SPP2290-Poppins (M), SPP2291-Rapunzel (F), SPP2292-Tinker Bell (F) and SPP2293-Vampirina (F), all around one and a half months old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 23th June 2020. They are under Ms. So responsibility in a Ka-Ho Work Shop. SPP2287-Jessie had pre-anaesthesia in a clinic for sterilization today. She made previous exams to check her health condition and they did not show anything relevant. Unfortunately, SPP2287-Jessie passed away with a heart problem. R.I.P. my friend! Anima-June Sad News (C2338-Pochacco)!

<16-06-2020> C2338-Pochacco (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th May 2020, after receive a message on Facebook from Mr. Hugo reporting that a British Shorthair, C2338-Pochacco, was abandoned outside of University of Macau - S1 Building with a pet carrier.  Anima asked a professor of UM, Dr. Tang to help as Mr. Hugo cannot keep C2338-Pochacco overnight because pets are not allowed in his dormitory. C2338-Pochacco was fostered by Dr. Tang the night before. The cat looked skinny and had skin problem on the forehead. According to Dr. Tang, C2338-Pochacco was not willing to eat since he arrived. Blood tests results in a clinic showed that he had anemia, liver problem and he was positive for Feline Coronavirus. C2338-Pochacco was hospitalized in the clinic for IV Fluids and he was under medical care until recover. Pochacco was adopted by Mr. Tang on 17th May 2020! Unfortunately, C2338-Pochacco got sick...

Anima-June Sad News (C1804-Dailey)!

<15-06-2020> C1800-Samuel (M), C1801-Aldon (M), C1802-Levis (M), C1803-Swiss (F) and C1804-Dailey (F), were rescued by Anima on 11th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all desexed by IACM. All of them had been in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1804-Dailey got sick and her blood test results showed a deep kidney problem. Today, she was found passed away in our Cats’ Paradise. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima-June Sad News (C2358-ChiChi)!

<13-06-2020> C2358-ChiChi (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 12th June 2020, after a call from Mr. Fu reporting that he found a kitten who fell from somewhere and was lying in a corner on the floor, motionless. He asked us to help. When our rescue team arrive, the kitten was breathing and made a small cry. C2358-ChiChi was sent to a clinic. Consultation and x-ray were done and it was found a fracture on the body. According to the vet, his hind legs and tail seems unable to move and it could be a brain problem. C2358-ChiChi returned to Anima and he was temporary foster by Ms. Zoe, to be fed and supervised. Unfortunately, C2358-ChiChi passed away today in Anima due to neurological complications. Anima-June Sad News (C1233-Eliana)!

<13-06-2020> C1233-Eliana (F), around three years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 9h July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that there were three cats living in the car park of Nam Sun Garden Building. C1230-Mat and C1231-Mateo, kittens of Eliana, were rescued one day before. They are living in our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C1233-Eliana was found not eating, anemic and with kidney problems. She was sent to a clinic for consultation but she passed away after a few minutes up on arriving in. According to the vet, her kidney was unable to extract waste such as Potassium and Phosphorus ions from the body. Not even a surgery could have saved her at the moment. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–June Sad News (357-PutChai)!

<08-06-2020> On 20th February 2020, 357-PutChai showed the left side of her face swollen. She was checked by our vet, she had gum problems and medication was prescribed. Later, 357-PutChai was sent to a clinic. According to vet, she suffers from an oral tumor and most likely malignant, also unable to remove by surgery. 357-PutChai was returned to Dog Shelter, after consultation, as the tumor didn’t spread through her body. Nowadays, the tumor was growing faster and she started to be in suffer due to cancer. After discuss with the vet, and approved by tow Anima board members, she was euthanized today in no pain conditions. The last decision is always from the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make it! R.I.P., my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <05-06-2020> C2357-Ariana, around a few months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th June 2020, after a call from a lady, Ms. Leonor, informing that she found an injured kitten on Tv. da Praia Grande (Macao), with blood coming from eyes, mouth and nose. She helped send the kitten directly to a clinic for treatment. C2357-Ariana was hospitalized for treatment there. Today, we were informed that Ariana passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–May Sad News (164-Trump)!

<04-06-2020> 164-Trump has been with us in our Dogs’ Shelter for long time. On 13th May, was reported by the handler that 164-Trump had a wound on his face. 164-Trump was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation as the wound was quite deep and our vet was in his day off. Surgery was performed by another vet to close up the wound. A lipoma on right hind leg of Trump was removed on 16th November, 2019 but a lump reappears on the same leg now and it seems to cause pain when being touched. According with the vet, he reported that the lump from right hind leg has grown all over into one area and results of some exams showed that it is a malign cancer. Removal and Amputation is not suggested as he will not recover. 164-Trump passed away today in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!...

Anima–May Sad News (C2086-Albin)!

<02-05-2020> C2085-Viru (M), around one year old; C2086-Albin (M), around one year old; C2087-Rasa (F), around two years old; C2088-Careina (F), around four years old and C2089-Wintor (M), around two years old were all rescued by Anima on 19th February 2019, from IAM due to no space. On 29th May, C2086-Albin refused to eat and had watery diarrhea. He was tested positive on a Pancreatitis test. Later, he got a swollen jaw, lymph nodes. Clinic reported that Albin was very weak, with low body temperature upon arrival and dehydrated. He was immediately put under intensive medical care and would stay in clinic for treatment. Today, the vet informed that Albin passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!
