Anima–April Sad News (2265-Pamina)!

<23-04-2020> 8 Puppies, 2258-Paige (M), 2259-Pax (M), 2260-Presley (M), 2261-Piers (M), 2262-Penley (M), 2263-Panya (F), 2264-Paza (F) and 2265-Pamina (F), all around 2 months old, were rescued by ANIMA on 18th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy their sibling, 2257-Pitt, had been injured from a dog fight in Coloane, near Escola de São José de Ka-Ho. 2265-Pamina was sent to a clinic and her medical exams confirmed positive for parvovirus. She was hospitalized for treatment there. 2265-Pamina passed away in the clinic today. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Rescue and Sad News (SPP2228; SPP2219; SPP2218)!

<22-04-2020> The puppies, SPP2219-Julien and SPP2228-Judia, around five months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd April 2020, after a call from Ms. Choi reporting that the puppy Julien had vomited the food he ate which was dog dry food plus some rice. SPP2218-Juliana, another sibling, was found dead this morning. It was suspected that Juliana could have parvovirus due to the sudden death. Julien was tested for parvovirus and results showed positive. All the puppies were vaccinated before. SPP2228-Judia and SPP2219-Julien stay under treatment and separated from other dogs now. Anima–April Sad News (C321-Blueye)!

<16-04-2020> C321-Blueye (M), around seven years old now, was rescued by Anima in 2013. Blueye always had a malfunction of his kidneys since he was hospitalized for treatment on 23rd November 2019. Recently, his condition was getting worse and he was sent to a clinic. According to the previous vet, Blueye's kidney problem is irreversible, and estimated life expectancy for 6 months to 1 year. Today, Anima was informed that Blueye passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2139-Rita)!

<14-04-2020> C2136-Rex, C2137-Raven, C2138-Roti and C2139-Rita were born on 16th June 2019, from the mother cat C2114-Raina. Today, C2139-Rita was found dead in our Cats’ Paradise. She was diagnosed positive for Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) and after further examination, her death might have been due to a cardiac arrest. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C1565-Gretel)!

<12-04-2020> C1565-Gretel (F), around one year old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 30th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Oscar, from Anihelp, informing that they rescued a cat in Nam Van area and the cat was unable to move. The cat was sent to a clinic for consultation and for an X-rays. Results showed that her pelvis was fractured, but no surgery was needed as she could recover by herself. Recently, C1565-Gretel refused to eat and vomits. She was sent to a clinic. According to the vet, Gretel has a severe acidemia and hypoglycemia. Her condition was getting worse and she entered in suffer. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!...

Anima–April Sad News (C1880-Degas)!

<11-04-2020> C1877-Van (M), around three years old, C1878-Gogh (M), around two years old, C1879-Monet (F), around two years old and C1880-Degas (F), around nine years old, were rescued by Anima on 12th April 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. All of them were neutered, vaccinated and received microchips at IAM. Yesterday, Degas had a faint crisis and hardly could stand. She was sent to a clinic as her body was collapsing. C1880-Degas passed away today in the clinic due to severe acidemia and severe hypoglycemia. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (H035-Raspberry)!

<08-04-2020> 8 Hamsters, H031-Apple (F) and H032-Cherry (M), around 3 months old, H033-Blue Berry (F), H034-Cranberry (M), H035-Raspberry (F), H036-Lychee (F), H037-Plum (F), H038-Strawberry (F), all around one month old, they were rescued by Anima on 27th January 2020, after we received a message from a 12 years old youngster, Keiji on Facebook telling that he couldn’t take care of his 28 hamsters anymore because they breed a lot and they are always fighting. He asked us to help. We collected 8 hamsters first and later the others as we didn’t have enough cages.
