Anima–October Sad News (SPPC2867-Cayenne)!

<18-10-2023> SPPC2867-Cayenne (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 16th October 2023, after a call from Ms. Carla informing that a cat had been shaking her head and seemed to be in bad spirit at the patio of her workplace, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro. SPPC2867-Cayenne was sent directly to a vet clinic. She had severe jaundice, anemia and bloody ascites. Cayenne needed to stay hospitalized. Her prognosis was getting worst and besides all our efforts, even with the endless help of Ms. Carla to make a blood transfusion, SPPC2867-Cayenne passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–October Sad News (C2518-August)!

<17-10-2023> Ten cats, C2511-January (M) and C2512-February (M), both around two years old, C2513-March (M),around eight years old, C2514-April (M), around two years old, C2515-May (F), C2516-June (M), C2517-July (F) and C2518-August (M), all around one year old, September (F), around two years old and C2520-October (F), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 11th February 2021, from Macau Kennel as they were completely full. C2518-August has been living in our Cats’ Paradise after his rescue. Recently, he was hospitalized in a clinic, as he was diagnosed with a lymphoma one year ago and his health condition was not good. His prognosis was getting worst and besides all our efforts, C2518-August passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–October Sad News (C2460-Pinot)!

<10-10-2023> C2459-Merlot (F), around three months old and C2460-Pinot (F), around two and a half months old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd December 2020, after a call from IAM regarding that they did not have more free space for cats back then. Both kittens, C2459-Merlot and C2460-Pinot, were welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, C2460-Pinot was hospitalized in a clinic, as she has a huge inflammation, jaundice and anemia. Blood test results showed hepatitis, which could be due to an auto immune problem. Her prognosis was getting worst and besides all our efforts, C2460-Pinot passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! <05-10-2023> SPP1365-Maffy was rescued and she gave birth on 16th January 2015, to twelve puppies: 1367-Moses, 1368-Morris, 1369-Morgan, 1370-Metis, 1371-Majasta, 1372-Mara, 1373-Malvina, 1374-Mindy, 1375-Morrie,1376-Murray, 1377-Morton and 1378-Maia. 1367-Moses was found passed away today due to a heart failure. Anima–September Sad News (C2515-May)!

<27-09-2023> Ten cats, C2511-January (M) and C2512-February (M), both around two years old, C2513-March (M), around eight years old, C2514-April (M), around two years old, C2515-May (F), C2516-June (M), C2517-July (F) and C2518-August (M), all around one year old, September (F), around two years old and C2520-October(F), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 11th February 2021,from Macau Kennel as they were completely full. Anima–September Sad News (C2227-Teddy)!

<20-09-2023> C2227-Teddy (M), around four years old back then, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd November 2019, after a Facebook message from Mr. Ng saying that his father owned four cats before passing away, but he could not take care of them. He has been living in our Cats’ Paradise after his rescue. Recently, C2227-Teddy was hospitalized in a clinic, as he was getting skinny, constipation, jaundice and anemia. Anima–September Sad News (SPP2375-MoMo)!

<18-09-2023> SPP2373-Aerobic (M), around two years old, SPP2374-Queen (F), around three years old and SPP2375-MoMo (F), around two years old back then, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th June 2021, under Mr. Ng’s responsibility in Ka Ho. Recently, SPP2375-MoMo was hospitalized in a clinic, as she was diagnosed with canine distemper, tick fever and she had also pancreatitis. Her prognosis was getting worst after neurological signs, such as circling and seizure, were verified in the morning. Besides all our efforts, SPP2375-MoMo passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–September Sad News (C1520-Allie)!

<01-09-2023> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home yesterday and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. C1512-Wifi was taken on the 3rd May 2017! They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1520-Allie was found with no strength to get up and she was sent to our own clinic for a previous consultation and treatment. Besides all our efforts, she passed away, after the typhoon. Anima–August Sad News (C1796-Bronte)!

<29-08-2023> C1796-Bronte (F), C1797-Austin (F), C1798-Dickinson (M) and C1799-Woolf (M), were rescued by Anima on 7th December 2017, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all desexed by IAM. All of them stay in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM are cooperating in order to save as many animals as possible! Recently, C1796-Bronte was hospitalized in a clinic due to an intestinal tumor. Her prognosis was bad also due to advanced age and besides all medical efforts, C1796-Bronte passed away today. Anima–August Sad News (C2838-Baggie)!

<29-08-2023> C2838-Baggie (M), around six years old, was rescued by Anima, after one of our staff, Mr. Danilo, reporting that there was a large plastic bag outside of our Dogs’ Shelter with a cat, C2838-Baggie, inside. Apparently, the cat was abandoned on the street. C2838-Baggie was sent to a clinic immediately. According with the vet, he was dehydrated, he has kidney failure, heart disease, and a respiratory infection. His prognosis turned worst after more exams and besides all medical efforts, C2838-Baggie passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets!
