Anima–August Sad News (FM014-Faye)!

<24-08-2023> An adult fancy mouse, FM012-White Peach (F), and two lab rats, FM013-Kaye (F) and FM014-Faye (F) were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2022, after a call from a lady referring her situation and why she could not take care of them anymore. All were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Recently, FM014-Faye was scratching her body until bleeding and she had to be hospitalized. According to the vet, they found a tumor on her neck and suspect that it was blocking her blood circulation. A surgery was recommended, but besides all medical efforts, she passed away, today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! <22-08-2023> C2845-Gabriel, C2846-Raphale and C2847-Angelo were born without life in Anima on 22nd August 2023, after our staff arrives at work. Anima was informed that C2829-Angie gave birth to four kittens last night, but three passed away. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (FM012-White Peach)!

<18-08-2023> An adult fancy mouse, FM012-White Peach (F), and two lab rats, FM013-Kaye (F) and FM014-Faye (F) were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2022, after a call from a lady referring her situation and why she could not take care of them anymore. Anima–August Sad News (C2544-Ivy)!

<16-08-2023> C2544-Ivy (F), around three years and five months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th March 2021, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that a cat ran into the shop bleeding from her mouth, opposite to the Red Market in Avenida de Horta e Costa. Apparently, the cat looks very fat and could be pregnant.C2544-After consultation, pregnancy was confirmed. C2544-Ivy was brought by our rescue team and welcome to Cat’s Paradise. Recently, she was hospitalized under fluids in a clinic, as she has kidney problems and she is getting skinny. Her prognosis was bad also due to other symptoms. More tests were done to make a better diagnosis. Besides all veterinary efforts, C2544-Ivy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (397-Sleepy)!

<10-08-2023> 397-Sleepy (M), is one of our senior dogs with a chronic pancreatitis. Recently, he was hospitalized in a clinic, as he vomited, he was in pain and with difficult breathing. A surgery was performed immediately and Sleepy’s spleen was removed due to a tumor. Blood test done after surgery showed anemia and inflammation. He was still hospitalized for treatment, although prognosis was bad also due to advanced age. Besides all medical efforts, 397-Sleepy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! <03-08-2023> C2154-Gunner (M), one of our senior cats, was rescued by Anima on the 5th July 2019, after a call from IAM, regarding no space. He was welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C2154-Gunner has been hospitalized in a clinic with kidney problems. Besides all medical and Anima’s care, his health condition got worst day by day. Anima–August Sad News (SPP2504-Foxy)!

<02-08-2023> SPP2504-Foxy (M), around three months old, was rescued by Anima on the 2nd August 2023, after a call from a call from Mr. Vemon asking for help as he found a very sick small stray dog in Hac Sa boat area. Our Rescue Team sent Foxy to a clinic immediately. Prognosis was Canine Distemper and SPP2504-Foxy was in a critical stage already. Besides all medical and Anima’s effort to keep him alive, SPP2504-Foxy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (C2360-Dwarfs)!

<26-06-2023> C2360-Dwarfs (M), around eight months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 20th June 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that an injured cat, C2360-Dwarfs, was found in the backyard of her building. She asked us to help. According to Ms. Cheong, there were some neighborhood cats gathered in the backyard and howled. She suspects that C2360-Dwarfs got bitten by older cats in that area. C2360-Dwarfs’s right face had an open wound for one month and he got worst. Rescue Team set a cat trap in the site and C2360-Dwarfs was caught. C2360-Dwarfs was sent to a clinic before being welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, his health condition forced Dwarfs being hospitalized in a clinic due to heart failure with a lung edema, severe jaundice and anemia. Besides all medical efforts, Dwarfs passed away today. Anima–June Sad News (C2116-Reeve)!

<16-06-2023> C2116-Reeve (F), one of our senior cats, was found in her litter box having bloody diarrhea. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. Reeve needed to stay under IV treatment with medication. Blood test results show severe anaemia and she has a severe intestine inflammation. Later, Anima was informed by the clinic that Reeve passed away. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets!
