Anima–January Sad News (C1339-Kanzi)!

<25-01-2023> C1339-Kanzi (F), one of our adult cats, has been living in our Cats’ Paradise since her rescue. Recently, C1339-Kanzi was found weak and getting skinny. She was sent to a clinic for consultation and health exams. According to the vet, not only there was a liver problem but also could might be FIP. Anima–January Sad News (C1819-Chewie)!

<20-01-2023> C1818-Leia (F), C1819-Chewie (F), C1820-Yoda (F) and C1821-Amilyn (F), were rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they did not have enough space for more cats. They were all desexed by IAM. All were welcomed in our Cat’s Paradise! Recently, C1819-Chewie was not eating and spirit seemed bad, getting lethargic and unable to walk. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, there is a reserved prognosis. Besides all medical efforts, Chewie passed away today in the clinic. R.I.P. our friend! Anima–January Sad News (C2164-Sindy)!

<19-01-2023> C2164-Sindy (F), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on the 14th July 2019, after a call from a lady saying that her neighbor was hospitalized and passed her the key to his house, so she could take care of the place, where he had three cats and three turtles. The lady asked us to collect the cats, with owner’s authorization. All were welcomed in our Cat’s Paradise! Recently, C2164-Sindy vomited twice and she is not eating, with a weak behavior. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, Sindy has an intra-abdominal hemorrhage, suspected from her liver, as she was diagnosed with swollen liver before. Blood transfusion was considered to temporarily improve her condition, but might not be a long-term and sustainable solution if her internal bleeding is not stopped. <18-01-2023> 887-AK (M), one of our senior dogs, recently, was found sick, skinny and without strength to stand up on himself. He was sent to a clinic for consultation as we found a lump on his head. According to the vet, the swelling part might be a tumor and up on checking, eyeball was damaged due to a probably Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC). Anima–December Sad News (C1870-Kinder)!

<30-12-2022> C1868-Twinkies (M), around three years old, C1869-Tuc (M), C1870-Kinder (M), C1871-Fritos (M) and C1872-Lays (M), all around two years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 28th March 2018, after a call from IAM reporting that they were lack of space for cats. They were castrated, vaccinated and received microchips at IAM. All of them were collected by our rescue team, and they were welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, C1870-Kinder got sick and became very dehydrated and lethargic. After being force fed and received fluids for starting treatment, Kinder was sent to a vet clinic. Prognosis was bad, he had severe jaundice, kidney problems, and pancreatitis. Kinder was hospitalized. Besides our and medical efforts, he passed away, today. R.I.P. our friend! <30-12-2022> C2521-Misaki (F), around seven months old and C2522-Koki (F), around one year old back then, were rescued by Anima on 12th February 2021, from Rua Dois do Bairro Iao Hon as they were in dangerous due to traffic jam. <29-12-2022> C1749-Kaka (F), around six years old now, was rescued by Anima on 6th November 2017, after a call from Ms. Hui reporting that her friend rescued a cat that entered on her apartment for a few times asking for food. She asked us for help. C1749-Kaka was checked by our vet and dewormed. She has been living in our Cat’s Paradise since her rescue. Recently, C1749-Kaka got very dehydrated, received fluids and she refused to eat. She was sent to a clinic immediately for consultation. According to the vet, Kaka has a renal failure.
