Michele, one of our volunteers for cats, rescued this kitten, male and around 6 weeks old and she is now looking for a family for him. Anima – April information about pets (SPP1226-Mui Chui)

SPP1226-Mui Chui is living in a Taipa site. The first time she  was rescued by Anima was on April 26, 2014 as she was not willing to eat and had severe skin problems. She came to us  again one more time and now seems she is getting definitively better. Once recovered she will go back, in order for us to continue to help other animals! Anima – March Information about Adopted Animals (T005-Mango)

T005-Albie, now Mango, was adopted in March 26, 2014 by Diana. He was rescued in 24 of March, 2014, lunch time, under a very hot sunny weather with no protection at all, tied up to a traffic post in Fat Sam street in Taipa, near the Hotel Grandview. Anima March Information about Cats

Anima was informed by Lorus, our volunteer, that Ms. Ng, somewhere in Macau, used to feed cats. She has rented a place and takes care of around 50 cats. Anima paid her a visit last Sunday with a group of five members and volunteers to be inside the situation. Anima March Information about Animals (1430-Helga)

1430-Helga was rescued by Anima after a call reporting that someone saw a dog being beaten by the owner and then abandoned in Rua da Perola Oriental “ La Cite”.  The dog couldn’t move and was just lying in the road. No microchip was found. As it was late, 1430-Helga was sent to a clinic. An X-Rays showed her left hind leg has a fracture. Please see the cruel treatment made to 1430-Helga. Never abandon your pet! Abandoning a pet is cruelty! This is also why a law for the protection of animals is need in Macau! But the law in discussion in the Legislative Council never refers the rights of animals! 1145-Tuga

1145-Tuga was found on Oct 28, 2013 with a broken leg in Coloane. Anima has paid the surgery of that animal that cost more than 20 thousand patacas in a private clinic. The animal has a microchip and the owner told us long time ago that he will come to collect him. But he never showed up! As you may see, Anima kept the animal. Anima didn’t send to IACM as there was no guarantee that the owner will collect him! More than one year after his rescue Anima will contact again IACM to call the owner.
