June Rescue (SPPC1547-1552,SPPC1557,SPPC1613-1614)!

<26-06-2017> SPPC1547-Ayana (F), SPPC1548-Asad (M), SPPC1549-Abree (F), SPPC1550-Ali (M) and SPPC1551-Avery (M), on the time all around two months old, were rescued by Anima and under our Special Protection Program, on the 25th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. The mother, SPPC1555-Juna, around two years old, with her kittens, SPPC1556-Jess, SPPC1557-Jet and SPPC1558-Joss, on the time all around two months old, were rescued by Anima and  was under our Special Protection Program, on the 26th May 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. All of them were brought to Anima for consultation and de-worming and were returned to their place under Michele responsibility. Today SPPC1547-Ayana, SPPC1548-Asad, SPPC1549-Abree, SPPC1550-Ali, SPPC1551-Avery, SPPC1552-Abi and SPPC1557-Jet were brought to Anima for consultation. Anima–June Rescue (C1612-Jenni)!

<25-06-2017> C1612-Jenni (F), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2017, after a call from Mr. Sou reporting that a kitten was found in Estrada Marginal do Hipódromo and she was very weak. C1612-Jenni was checked by our vet and dewormed. She has urinary tract infection and is under observation now. Thanks Mr. Sou! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! <24-06-2017> Today, 63 people visited us, 15 of them were from Centro de Apoio à Familia em Abundância da Associação Geral das Mulheres de Macau that came to our Dogs’ Shelter! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to May 2017, Anima received 4,297 visitors, an increase of 31.4% as compared with the same period of last year. 50 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 22%, and we have been in 17 events organized by friends or by us, an increase of 13.3%! Anima–The International School of Macao visited us!

Anima-June Sad News (C1598-Quy)!

<24-06-2017> C1598-Quy (M), on the time around three days old, was rescued by Anima on 15th June 2017, after a call from Ms. Lee, informing that a cat was found in Rua do Tarrafeiro. She collected C1598-Quy as it was raining. She asked us to help. C1598-Quy was checked by our vet and fostered by our assistant supervisor Ms. Peng temporarily as he needed milk feeding. His spirit was not good since yesterday but still willing to drink milk. Unfortunately he passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! <23-06-2017> Ziva was adopted by Mr. Io Ieong on 23rd June 2017! C1542-Zion (M) and C1543-Ziva (F), on the time around two months old, were rescued by Anima on the 22nd May 2017, after a call from Mr. Chan, informing that he found two kittens, C1542-Zion and C1543-Ziva, near his working place in Rua do Cunha and no adult cat was seen nearby. He asked us to help. C1542-Zion and C1543-Ziva were checked by our vet and de-wormed. They were staying in our Cats’ Paradise and Ziva was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Io Ieong! Anima–June Adoption (C1562-Heidi)!

<23-06-2017> Heidi was adopted by Mr. Leong on 23rd June 2017! C1562-Heidi (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 29th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong, informing that he rescued a pregnant cat, C1562-Heidi, near Estrada de Ferreira do Amaral the night before. As he had no experience for taking care of a pregnant cat, he asked us to help. Heidi was checked by our vet. She was staying in our Cats’ Paradise and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Leong! Anima–June Sad News (C1176-Domina)!

<23-06-2017> C1176-Domina (F), on the time around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2016, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he had been taking care of Domina for five years in a warehouse, but he didn’t want her anymore as she always pees on his goods. He asked if we could collect her. We lent a container to Mr. Ho and Domina was caught and delivered to Anima. Domina had been under treatment since 16th June 2017 as she was getting skinny and dehydrated. She had FIP, gingivitis and breathing sonorous. She was taking medication but she didn’t improve at all and begin to enter in suffer! After discussion with our vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please...
