Anima–May Rescue (1880-Golden II)!

<10-05-2017> 1880-Golden II (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sally, informing that she found a golden retriever, 1880-Golden II, in Seac Pai Van Lok Kuan Building and asked our help. Golden II was starving and had skin problems. No microchip was found. Anima gave immediately a bath to him and after medication is staying in our area B-1. We are completely full! Thanks Ms. Sally! Anima–Rescued and Returned (SPP1711-Browny)!

<10-05-2017> SPP1711-Browny (F), with an estimated age of one year and four months old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th April 2016. Browny was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that she accidently hit Browny in a site of Coloane. Browny’s right hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic for a surgery in the same day. She had recovered and was returned to her former place. SPP1711-Browny was rescued again on 10th May 2017. Browny was checked by our vet, several tests were done but she has no tick fever. She has anemia and will be under Ms. Peng responsibility. Please help us to help them! Do not abandon your pet! <10-05-2017> C1532-Judo (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Chou, informing that she found a kitten, C1532-Judo, alone in Calçada da Igreja de São Lazaro and asked our help. Anima–May Rescue (C1529 to C1531)!

<10-05-2017> C1529-Jomen (M), C1530-Jono (M) and C1531-Joci (F), all around two years old, were rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from IACM, asking us to help keeping them in Anima as the kennel has no more space for other rescues. They have all microchip, are spayed and properly vaccinated. IACM and Anima are cooperating very intensively to save as many animals as possible. Anima–May Rescue (C1528-Gummy)!

<10-05-2017> C1528-Gummy (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on the 10th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Ivy, of Cat Cave, informing that C1528-Gummy was abandoned in front of the café one month ago. C1528-Gummy was spayed in Macau Kennel and vaccinated. FIV, FELV tests were run for her and all results were negative. As Ivy was taking care of some kittens with Feline Distemper, C1528-Gummy should be better with us. He was de-wormed, checked and delivered to Cat Paradise. Thanks Ms. Ivy! Anima–May New Born (C1523 to C1527)!

<10-05-2017> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home yesterday and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. C1512-Wifi was taken on the 3rd of May 2017! They were brought to Anima, checked by our vet and de-wormed. C1519-Alma had severe gingivitis and upper respiratory problems. She was breathing hard with yellowish nasal discharge and was dehydrated. C1520-Allie was pregnant and was delivered to Cat Paradise for quarantine. C1523-Alfa, C1524-Beta, C1525-Gamma, C1526-Delta, C1527-Omega were born by C1520-Allie today, 10th May 2017! Welcome to this world! Thanks Ms. Sandy! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Rescue (SPP1878 and SPP1879)!

<08-05-2017> SPP1878-Bun (M) and SPP1879-Bon (M), around six months old, were rescued by Anima on the 8th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Gordan reporting that SPP1878-Bun and SPP1879-Bon, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), living somewhere in Coloane and under Mr. Gordan responsibility, were very sick and the symptoms seemed food poisoning. According to Mr. Gordan, one of the puppies has passed away last week in that area. SPP1878-Bun and SPP1879-Bon were brought to Anima for consultation. A blood test and a parvovirus test showed they have parvovirus. Medication was prescribed. They were returned to their place after consultation and our rescue team will be responsible to give the medication everyday. Thanks Mr. Gordan! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Printmaking Research Center of Macau visited us!

<07-05-2017> Today, 84 people visited us, 38 were from Printmaking Research Center of Macau, that came to our Cats’ Paradise! They donated to us MOP 1,800.00! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to April 2017, Anima received 3,578 visitors, an increase of 37.7% as compared with the same period of last year. 45 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, and we have been in 14 events organized by friends or by us!
