Anima–December Rescue (C2682, C2683, C2684, C2685, C2686)!

<27-12-2021> A mother cat, C2682-Lisa (F), around two and a half years old, together with her four kittens, C2683-Lailah (F), C2684-Leanna (F), C2685-Loki (M) and C2686-Lester (M), all around three weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 27th December 2021. A couple days ago, we were asked for assistance, requested from Ms. Cheong reporting that her father had been feeding a cat on Edf. Industrial Kin Ip 8/F, where he works. However, he’s retiring and no one can continue to feed the cat anymore. All cats, Lisa and her kittens, were found at the same place and welcomed to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks, Ms. Cheong! Anima–December Rescue and Adoption (SG001-Wes)!

<19-12-2021> While Anima’s efforts might seem to be mostly focused on dogs and cats, our protection is often extended to other species. Yesterday, a Sugar Glider was rescued by Anima! SG001-Wes (M), around six months old, was rescued following a call from Mr. Lau reporting to have found him in Parque de Seac Pai Van. Wes was brought to our Cats’ Paradise and, fortunately, we soon found people interested in adopting him. Today, Wes was adopted by Mr. Cheng! Thank you so much for adopting, Mr. Cheng! Anima–New SPP Dogs (SPP2421 and SPP2422)!

<13-12-2021> SPP2421-Elis (F) and SPP2422-Sunny (M), both around two months old, are now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). They were under Mr. Liu’s responsibility in Coloane Hac-Sa, Boat Area. SPP2421-Elis and SPP2422-Sunny were received 1st vaccination today. Anima will support a spay surgery for SPP2421-Elis to prevent her from getting pregnant once she reaches seven months. Thanks, Mr. Liu! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (C2678-Mars)!

<12-12-2021> C2678-Mars (M), a cat around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 12th December, 2021. We received a call from Ms. Law reporting that a cat with a pink collar had entered a shop in Avenida do General Castelo Branco. The cat had been hiding under a fridge, apparently for several days. Mars was sent to a clinic immediately, as he was found skinny and with his fur covered in sticky mouse trap glue. He was diagnosed with Cryptorchidism and X-ray images revealed an old fracture on his left rib. Mars will remain hospitalized for the time being. Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue and Sad News (2620-Bluto)!

<11-12-2021> Over the past few days, our team has been mobilized for the search of a white injured dog, seen by several people wandering around Coloane Village. Today, our rescue efforts have sadly come to an end, as we received a call from Ms. Vera reporting to have found the body of the dog on some rocky cliffs in Coloane seaside. The body was found in poor condition, with maggots infesting the wounded area. Anima collected the body and delivered it to Macau Municipal Kennel. R.I.P.! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (2416, 2417, 2418, 2419)!

<10-12-2021> 2416-Soho (M), 2417-Tempo (M), 2418-Snoopy (F) and 2419-Rika (F), all around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 10th December 2021. Anima was looking for the white dog that was severely hurt and during this search saved these four puppies. All were sent to a clinic and blood tests were made to check their health. Soho, Tempo, Snoopy and Rika will return to our Dogs’ Shelter after recover. Thanks to all Anima team! Please help us to help them! Anima–December Rescue (C2673-Rami)!

<02-12-2021> C2673-Rami (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2021, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a cat has fallen from a height in Rua Norte do Canal das Hortas. She sheltered the cat and tried to find the owner, but no one claimed it. According to a resident, this is not the first time that animals have fallen in the area. C2673-Rami was sent to a clinic. The elbow of her right front leg was fractured, and she needs a surgery. IAM has been notified and promptly found the owner. According to the owner, the cat escaped from a hole in the fence of the balcony. At first, the owner accepted to be held accountable for the medical expenses, but later refused to take responsibility for the cat, due to the surgery costs. Anima–December Rescue (2414-Eugene)!

<01-12-2021> 2414-Eugene (M), around one year old, was rescued from the kennel by Anima on 1st December 2021, after a call from IAM reporting that Eugene has been diagnosed with Babesia Gibson and he was suffering from skin problems. Anima–November Rescue (C2665, C2666, C2667)!

<28-11-2021> A pregnant cat and several kittens were rescued by Anima on 28th November, 2021. A couple days ago, we were contacted by Ms. Bueno, a non-resident worker who reported to be in need of returning to her country of origin. Ms. Bueno claimed that she cannot afford the expenses of caring and neutering/spaying the cats. At the same time, she asked us to help a friend, who owned an adult pregnant cat. Attending to the lack of options, all cats were collected by Anima. The pregnant cat, C2665-Christy (F), around four years old, and the two kittens, C2666-Butterfly (F) and C2667-Bees (M), both around four months old, were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. An Ultrasound Examination revealed that Christy is carrying around five kittens and the estimated due date is December, 4th. Please help us to help them!
