Anima–November Rescue (C2668-Spoon)!

<28-11-2021> C2668-Spoon (M), a kitten around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 28th November, 2021. We received a call from Ms. Vanessa informing that a kitten fell from a height in Rua da Horta e Sousa, Taipa. Spoon was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. X-Ray results revealed a hemothorax in his right chest. He will remain under the foster care of our staff for the next days. Please help us to help them! Anima–November Rescue (C2664-Hudson)!

<27-11-2021> C2664-Hudson (M), a cat around one year old, was rescued by Anima today. We were contacted by Ms. Pang, who reported to have seen an injured cat wandering in Kam Hing Building. During the rescue efforts, carried out with the help of Ms. Pang, another cat ended up being rescued. Hudson received a health check-up in a clinic and was then welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima–November Sad News (FM001-Haisle)!

<24-11-2021> A family of three fancy mouses, the mother, FM001-Haisley (F), around one year old, the father, FM002-Harper (M), around one year old and the baby, FM003-Eesley (F), around three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 7th March 2020, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that he found three fancy mouses abandoned near a public garbage bin at R. Nova da Areia Preta (Nam Wa San Chun). He asked us to help. All were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Unfortunately, their lifespan is very short compared to other big animals. Anima–November Sad News (H057-JuJuBe)!

<23-11-2021> H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that eight hamsters were found abandoned in the park of Edf. Lok Kuan (Seac Pai Van) in a cage. He asked us to help. All of them were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Unfortunately, their lifespan is very short compared to other big animals. Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (C2663-Sunny)!

<21-11-2021> C2663-Sunny (M), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima with the support of Mr. Carlos. Sunny was found by Mr. Carlos at around 7pm lying on the street of Rua Um do Bairro da Concórdia. The kitten was very weak and was transferred to a clinic. Unfortunately, however, Sunny didn’t survive. X-ray images revealed a fracture on his skull, possibly due to a fall from a height. IAM has been informed. R.I.P.! Please help us to help them! SPP2411-Will (M), around five months old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) yesterday. They are under Mr. Che’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Workshop. Anima–November Return (SPP2410-Testi)!

<17-11-2021> SPP2410-Testi (M), a puppy around nine months old, was rescued by Anima on 16th November 2021 and he is under our Special Protection Program. Anima received a call from Mr. Tog reporting that SPP2410-Testi got injured near Pac On. He asked us to help. SPP2410-Testi was sent to a clinic for consultation. His testicles were ruptured and need a surgery. Anima helped with the castration in this situation and SPP2410-Testi was returned safely to his place today. Thanks, Mr. Tog! <14-11-2021> Five cats were rescued by Anima on 14th November, 2021: C2658-Lolita (F), a British shorthair around 12 years old; as well as C2659-Chantel (F), around three and a half years old; together with her three-month-old kittens C2660-Gumpty (F), C2661-Humpty (M) and C2662-Dumpty (M). Last week, we received a Facebook message from a non-resident worker reporting to have six cats at home in Rua de S. Jose. She claimed to be unable to afford taking care of them and stated that her roommate left her the two adult cats three years ago, when she returned to her home country. Chantel hadn’t been spayed and, as her home didn’t have window protection installed, she had access to the outside of the house. Anima–November Rescue (T035-Bobby)!

<08-11-2021> T035-Bobby (M), a young turtle, was rescued by Anima on 8th November 2021, after a call from one of our community members, Ms. Carla, reporting that a small turtle was found on the gutter in the Patio where she works on Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro by her colleague. She asked our help. Our Rescue team went there and brought T035-Bobby. He was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, in a proper pound that Anima has for aquatic animals. Thanks, Ms. Carla!
