Anima-October Rescue and Return (SPP2407-Midnight)!

<20-10-2021> SPP2407-Midnight (M), around two years old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). He is under Ms. So's responsibility in Hac Sa Site and Anima will support a spay surgery. SPP2407-Midnight was spayed in a clinic today and returned safely to his former site after the surgery. Thanks, Ms. So! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescue (C2644, C2645, C2646, C2647)!

<17-10-2021> Four more newborn kittens were rescued by Anima! C2644-Kimiko, C2645-Yamy, C2646-Yanny and C2647-Nikky, all females, were rescued by Anima on 17th October, 2021. We received a call from Mr. Choi, reporting that four kittens were found in the bushes of Dr. Sun Yat Sen Municipal Garden in the morning. No mommy cat was found around and they seemed to be only one day old, as their umbilical cord was still attached. They were rescued and will be temporarily fostered by our staff for milk feeding and special care. Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! <15-10-2021> A newborn kitten was rescued by Anima! C2640-Compass (F), around one day old, was rescued by Anima on 14th October 2021, after a call from Mrs. Lo reporting that a newborn kitten, C2640-Compass, was found in Rua Kun Iam Tong and seemingly abandoned by the mother. She asked us to help. C2640-Compass was fostered by our president, Ms. Zoe, temporarily for milk feeding and healthcare. Thanks, Mrs. Lo! Please help us to help them! Anima–October Rescue (C2642, C2643)!

<15-10-2021> C2642-Kiwi (M), around four years old, and C2643-Jess (F), around one and a half years old, were rescued by Anima on 15th October 2021, after a call from IAM regarding no more space for cats. Kiwi and Jess were vaccinated, and they had microchip from IAM. Both were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM cooperate in many of these situations to help as many animals as possible. Anima–October Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<11-10-2021> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old back then, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, and now he is under Mr. Leong’s responsibility in Coloane Water Treatment Company. Recently, Anima received a call from Mr. Leong reporting that SPP1902-Farley was hit by a car. He asked our help. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic through or rescue team. X-ray result shows a fracture in the right back calf. His right back hip joint already had a problem since long time ago. According to the vet, a surgery would have some risks and he would never have a fully recover from it. SPP1902-Farley will now stay inside a cage for two months treatment, to limit his mobility and recheck after that time. The fracture part will heal by itself. A cage was lent to Coloane Water Treatment Company and SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thank you, Mr. Leong! Please...

Anima-October Rescue (SPP2405-A-Mui)!

<09-10-2021> SPP2405-A-Mui (F), a dog around seven years old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th September, 2021. She’s living under Mrs. So’s responsibility in a site at Hac-Sa, Coloane. This morning, we were informed by Ms. So that A-Mui has a puncture infected wound near her left ear, possibly due to a dog bite. A-Mui was immediately rescued by our team and sent to a clinic. She will stay hospitalized for a few days and will be safely returned to the original site after being discharged. Through our SPP Program, we have been extending our support to a broad number of animals living out of our shelters, under the responsibility of volunteers. Anima–October Rescue (C2637, C2638, C2639)!

<05-10-2021> C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. Anima–October Rescue (C2636-Yoga)!

<04-10-2021> C2636-Yoga (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2021, after a call from Mr. Ho reporting that he found a kitten, C2636-Yoga, in Border Gate on 2nd October 2021 during nighttime. He brought C2636-Yoga to a clinic for consultation as she was sneezing with nasal and eyes discharge. Health tests were positive for FCV (Feline Calicivirus) and Mycoplasma Felis carried by Feline panleukopenia virus. C2636-Yoga was hospitalized overnight in the Animal Hospital. Rescue Team also transferred her today to another clinic for a checkup. C2636-Yoga will be hospitalized there for treatment. Thank you, Mr. Ho! Please help us to help them!
