Anima–April Rescue (B208-Small)!

<13-04-2021> B208-Small, a baby bird, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2021, after receiving a call from Ms. Hong reporting that there is a small bird, B208-Small all wet and not moving between the ally of Edf. Jardim Hoi Wan, Taipa. Ms. Hong also mentioned that before the bird, there were some students throwing something over that area and later, after they left, she saw the little bird. Our rescue team sent B2087-Small to a clinic for consultation. B208-Small will stay in the clinic under medical care until being able to fly again. Thanks, Ms. Hong! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2573-Hero)!

<12-04-2021> C2573-Hero (M), around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th April 2021, after a call from an individual volunteer, Ms. Fong, reporting that C2573-Hero was found in an abandoned house at Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro and was not able to move at all. He was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. X-ray results showed that he has a rupture inside his body and an internal hemorrhaging of fluids in his abdomen. Hero also lost his capacity of controlling other vital organs. It was also considered the hypothesis to euthanize him to end the pain. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be collected to be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C1817-Shan)!

<12-04-2021> C1817-Shan (M), around five months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 3rd January 2018, after a call from Mr. Tam reporting that a cat was trying to crawl into his storeroom and the cat seems sick or injured. C1817-Shan was sent to a clinic as he could not move his legs. X-ray did not show any fracture. The vet suspected that C1817-Shan fell from a building and hurt the nerves. He was in the clinic until recover and be welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1817-Shan got sick, and he was refusing to eat. He was sent to the clinic. According with the vet, he might have liver and kidney problems. Symptoms and health exams’ results showed higher suffering. It was also considered the hypothesis to euthanize him to end the pain. Anima-April Rescue and Sad News (C2572-MiMi)!

<07-04-2021> C2572-MiMi (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 7th April 2021, after a call from Mrs. Law reporting that a pregnant cat was passed away in an abandoned land at Rua Kun Iam Tong. Mrs. Law used to feed the cats in that area and could not found the pregnant cat since yesterday. She was informed by the neighborhoods that C2572-MiMi has died under bushes. Our staff member and a volunteer have been tried searching for the body, but without success. This afternoon, our rescue team found it out. Anima–April Foster Family (C1188-Carmy)!

<06-04-2021> Carmy was fostered today by Ms. Khoulood! C1188-Carmy (F), around ten months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 8th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that a cat was found in the Car Park of Van Sion Son Chun. Her ears and fur were very clean which could make us suspect that she might had an owner before. Carmy was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, and now fostered by a family. Anima–April Rescue (2360-Rolling)!

<03-04-2021> 2360-Rolling (M), a dog around one year old, was rescued by Anima on the 3rd April 2020, following a call from Mr. Kwong reporting that a dog was found lying unable to move on the roadside of Estrada do Altinho de Ka-Ho. Our team rescued Rolling and took him immediately to a clinic. X-ray results revealed that both his front leg and right hind leg were fractured in a total of four different areas. Anima–April Sad News (C2209-Esra)!

<02-04-2021> C2207-Everett (M), C2208-Ethan (M), both close to one year old and C2209-Esra (M), around two years old back then, were rescued by Anima on 26th September 2019, from IAM due to lack of space. They were all welcome to our Cats' Paradise! C2209-Esra was found sick on 16th March 2021. She was sent for the clinic for consultation. After a few exams, medication was prescribed and C2209-Esra needs to stay under fluids as she refused to eat. Her prognosis was bad, and despite all medical efforts, she did not survive.
