Anima–November Rescue and new SPP cat (SPPC2437-Vanilla II)!

<25-11-2020> SPPC2437-Vanilla II (M), around 2 years old, is now under our Special Protection Program. He was rescued by Anima on 25th November 2020, after being reported by Ms. Carla that in her workplace, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, there was this cat and a few more who needed to be desexed. Yesterday, Vanilla II was caught by Ms. Carla with our trap and he was sent to a clinic for desex. Ms. Carla will also help with costs and everything that SPPC2437-Vanilla II might need later until can go back to his place. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Please help us to help them! Anima-November Sad News (C2192-Maisha)!

<24-11-2020> C2192-Maisha (F), around one year old, C2193-Magdalena (F) and C2194-Milo (M), both around four months old by the time, were all rescued by Anima on the 11th September 2019, from IAM due to lack of space there. The three cats were all welcomed in our Cats Paradise! C2192-Maisha has been living with liver and kidney health problems, but recently her condition has deteriorated in the past few days and was already irreversible. Following veterinary medical advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Maisha was euthanized to shorten her agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! <24-11-2020> B182-Sasa, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima on 24th November 2020, after our rescue team passed by near Miramar Restaurant during their daily feeding activities and saw the dead body of B182-Sasa in the bushes. Anima–November Rescue (C2432-C2436)!

<23-11-2020> C2432-Claire (F), C2433-Camilla (F), C2434-Cooper (M), C2435-Caleb (M) and C2436-Camden (M), all around two and a half months old, were originally found on a cardboard box at the University of Macau, near the playground. Eventually, the kittens were rescued by the I.A.M and Anima agreed to rescue them if they did not find an adopter. Anima–November Rescue (C2431-Travis)!

<23-11-2020> C2431-Travis (M), a cat around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, from I.A.M. (Macau Kennel). He was rescued by the I.A.M. services after being found living confined to a small area, on a staircase, by its previous owner. Travis was now welcome in our Cats' Paradise. Anima–November Return (B180-Joseph)!

<23-11-2020> B180-Joseph, an adult dove, was rescued by Anima on 18th November 2020, after we received a message from Ms. Rebeka reporting that she found a bird, B180-Joseph, who hit a window in Colégio Diocesano de São José and he was unable to fly. She asked us help. B180-Joseph was sent to a veterinary clinic through our rescue team where he stayed until he recovered now. Today, B180-Joseph was released back to nature! Thanks, Ms. Rebeka! Anima–November Rescue (C2430-Dai Gor)!

<23-11-2020> C2430-Dai Gor (M), a cat around three years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd November 2020, after a request for help from Ms. Chang. Dai Gor is a stray cat, fed by Ms. Chang and another volunteer. However, he appeared limping after a long time and they had to send him to a clinic. His spinal cord has been found to be broken and surgery is needed. Unfortunately, they could not pay the costs. Anima agreed to help and Dai Gor was transferred to another clinic today. A more detailed check-up revealed other health problems and he will stay in the clinic until the surgery be performed tomorrow! Ms. Chang and more friends were able to donate MOP $ 6,000 to help us with the costs. We are grateful for this kind support! Anima–November Rescue (C2429-Pauline)!

<22-11-2020> C2429-Pauline (F), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima today. On 16/11/2020, we received a call from Mr. Cao reporting to have found a very weak and skinny cat at Pátio da Eterna Felicidade. An owner of a shop nearby claimed to have been feeding the cat for a few months, but insisted that the cat is a stray and didn’t plan to take her to a clinic for consultation. With the help of two volunteers, we managed to rescue Pauline today. She was directly sent to a clinic, where she will stay hospitalized for the time being. Thank you for the warning call, Mr. Cao! Anima–November Rescue (C2428-Rego)!

<19-11-2020> C2428-Rego (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 19th November 2020, after one of our members, Ms. Mandy, found a very friendly and clean cat with part of ear trimmed near a Bus Stop (Edf. Sunny View Garden) on a very busy road Avenida do Coronel Mesquita with many cars and pedestrians. Apart from an incense store nearby was open, the remaining shops were closed. The cat was brought to our Cats’ Paradise to check. Anima informed I.A.M. about C2428-Rego’s microchip number. According to I.A.M., the cat was adopted from Macau Kennel in August this year. The owner of the cat will be contacted and I.A.M. will take their own measures to proceed the case. Anima cooperates with I.A.M. to save as more animals as possible and keeping their welfare.
