Anima–September Rescue (C2860-Riceball)!

<12-09-2023> C2860-Riceball (M), around three weeks old, was rescued by Anima on 12th September 2023, after a call from Mr. Wong, reporting that he found a kitten last night on Rua da Praia do Manduco. He brought the kitten to a vet clinic overnight and later asked us for help. C2860-Riceball shall receive nebulizing treatment and will be fostered by our staff as he needs milk feeding. Anima–September Rescue (C2857, C2858, C2859)!

<12-09-2023> C2857-Tweety (F), around one and a half years old, C2858-Babbit (M), around one year old, and C2859-Marple (M), around two years old, were rescued by Anima today, after a call from IAM regarding no more space for animals. They are microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed. Tweety, Babbit and Marple were all welcome to our Cats’ Paradise today! Anima and IAM cooperate together to save as many animals as possible. Anima–August Rescue (SPP2373, SPP2375)!

<29-08-2023> SPP2373-Aerobic (M), around two years old, SPP2374-Queen (F), around three years old and SPP2375-MoMo (F), around two years old back then, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th June 2021, under Mr. Ng’s responsibility in Ka Ho. Today, Mr. Ng reported to Anima that SPP2373-Aerobic was eating normal, but always having fights with other dogs, while SPP2375-MoMo was not eating enough for a few days and vomit with yellowish fluid. Both were caught and sent to a clinic for consultation. A blood test showed that SPP2375-MoMo has pancreatitis and tick fever. Also, SPP2373-Aerobic has tick fever and canine distemper. Anima–August Rescue (C2854-Swee’ Pea)!

<28-08-2023> C2854-Swee’ Pea (F), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 28th August 2023, after a message from Ms. Choi on Facebook, reporting that she heard a tiny cat meowing from a car while she was passing on Rua Nove do Bairro Iao Hon. She suspects the tiny cat got hidden inside a car engine and asked for our help. Our rescue team was first confirming that the kitten was trapped inside a car which parked there. I.A.M. and Fire Department were contacted to help us as well. The kitten, C2854-Swee’ Pea was rescued successfully and she was brought to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks, Ms. Choi! Anima–August Rescue (T038-Roliz)!

<22-08-2023> T038-Roliz (M), an adult turtle, was rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2023, after a call from Mr. Chan, reporting that he found a turtle (palm size) this morning in Praça da Ponte e Horta. He suspects that Roliz fell from some building and got lost, although the turtle has no wounds. Mr. Chan took him home in Chun Hang Garden, Rua do Padre António. He asked us to help. Our rescue team brought Roliz to our Cats’ Paradise and he is going to stay under quarantine. Thanks, Mr. Chan! Please, consider more options before abandon any animal in the streets! Anima–August Rescue (C2842-Duck Zai)!

<10-08-2023> C2842-Duck Zai (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th August 2023, after a call from Mr. Wong, saying that a cat was injured and lying on Tv. D’Areia Preta. He asked us help. Our rescue team went there immediately and found a wet cat on the top of a plastic bag with bloodstains on it. C2842-Duck Zai was sent to a clinic. According with the vet, Duck Zai had a fracture on upper jaw, pulmonary hemorrhage and two broken bones on his left front paw. C2842-Duck Zai stay hospitalized for surgery, treatments and veterinary supervision until recover. Thanks, Mr. Wong! Please, consider more options before abandon any animal in the streets! Anima–August Rescue (C2839-Kennedy)!

<02-08-2023> C2839-Kennedy (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd August 2023, after a lady reported that she found an injured and paralyzed cat between Rua de Sanches de Mirando and Rua de Eduardo Marques. He was sent to a vet clinic. According to the vet, he has fractures in different places, suspecting that Kennedy fell from high places or he was hit by cars, paralyzing him.
