Anima–November Rescue (C1322-Rose)!

<04-11-2016> C1322-Rose (F), with an estimated age of two months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th November 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, our board member,  reporting that a kitten was found by her friend Mr. Fernando in Sé Cathedral. Rose was sent to a clinic by Mr. Fernando as she has an eye infection. Rose is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Gina and Mr. Fernando! Please help us to help them! Anima–November Rescue (C1320, C1321)!

<03-11-2016> C1320-Goma (F) and C1321-Ginger II (F), both with an estimated age of four years old, were rescued by Anima on 3rd November 2016, after a call from our staff, reporting that someone told them there were two cats in front of the entrance of the Water Company near Anima. Our staff found two cats inside the container over there. The cats were checked by our vet and dewormed. After we have found the two cats, Anima received a call from the owner telling that she didn’t pay the rent long time and her landlord got back the apartment and put her two cats near our shelter, asking us for collecting them. The owner claimed that her friend will come to Anima to pick them up as she is not in Macau right now. Goma and Ginger II are staying with us safety now. <28-10-2016> B054-Fei Fei was rescued by Anima already dead on 28th October 2016, after a call from our rescue team reporting that a bird body was found in Rotunda do Istmo. Anima–Rescue and Accommodation (SPPC1132-Steve)!

<28-10-2016> SPPC1132-Steve (M) and SPPC1133-Magoo, on the time with an estimated age of eight months old, were under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 24th February 2016, after a call from Michele reporting that Steve and Magoo live somewhere in Taipa under Michele’s responsibility. Anima provided both of them the de-sex surgeries in that day. Steve and Magoo were returned to the site after the surgeries, in good health condition. Today Steve was rescued by Anima through Michele again. Steve has gingivitis and refused to eat, his gums were inflamed as well. He is staying with us temporarily for treatment. Thanks Michele! Anima–October Rescue (C1319-Root)!

<27-10-2016> C1319-Root (M), with an estimated age of three months old, was rescued by Anima on 27th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua de Seng Tou. Both of his eyes have an infection and could barely open. Root was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has upper respiratory tract infection and conjunctivitis, yellowish ocular and nasal discharge. Anima–October Rescue (HG001-Sonic)!

<26-10-2016> HG001-Sonic (M), five years old, was rescued by Anima on 26th October 2016, after a call from Mr. Pedro reporting that a hedgehog was found in a carton box beside the garbage bin near Ocean Garden Health Center. His right face and right eye were swollen. There were wood shavings bedding inside the box, possibly Sonic was abandoned. Sonic was sent to a clinic for consultation. Anima-Rescue and Return (SPP1059-Shar Pei Chai)!

<24-10-2016> SPP1059-Shar Pei Chai (M), around six years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 31st August 2015, after a call from Gina referring that he was found sick somewhere in Taipa. Shar Pei Chai was sent to a clinic immediately and was diagnosed with tick fever. He was recovered and backed to his former place on 25th September 2015. He was sent to Anima again due to a nose bleeding on 24th August 2016. Medication was prescribed by our vet. He was returned to his place after consultation. Today we were informed that Shar Pei Chai seemed to have elevated body temperature and was  skinny. Shar Pei Chai was sent to a clinic and diagnosed with tick fever again. He was returned to his former place, after medication prescribed. He needs to follow up consultation after two weeks. He will be monitored closely by our rescue team. Rescue, Return and New cat under SPP (SPPC1318-Squiggle)!

<24-10-2016> SPPC1318-Squiggle (M), three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 24th October 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Squiggle was brought to Anima because he was slightly dehydrated and very skinny. He had upper respiratory infection and got watery discharge on both eyes. Anima–October Rescue (C1315-Okra)!

<22-10-2016> C1315-Okra (F), five years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd October 2016, after a call from Ms. Ao reporting that she rescued a cat last Saturday in Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Okra was sent to a clinic by Ms. Ao as she has difficulty to breathe. According to the vet, her stomach was inside the chest, and the right hind leg was fractured. Ms. Ao asked our help because she couldn’t afford the surgery expenses. Okra was sent to a second clinic by us for further examination. She will have the surgery tomorrow but this surgery is  risky.
