Anima–July Rescue (C2368-Lazaro)!

<06-07-2020> C2368-Lazaro (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th July 2020, after a call from Ms. Teresa reporting that a mother cat was living with a few kittens at the back of her house on Rua de Inácio Baptista and one of the kittens had fallen from a high wall. She asked us for help.  Our rescue team went there and the kitten, C2368-Lazaro, was immediately sent to a clinic for treatment. According to the vet, C2368-Lazaro had upper respiratory infection, as well as wounds on the left front and right hind paws. C2368-Lazaro will stay in the clinic under medical care. Anima–July Rescue (2294-Hua Hua)!

<05-07-2020> 2294-Hua Hua (M), around two years and six months old now, was rescued by Anima on 5th July 2020, after Ms. Hsieh informing that she is not capable to take care of him anymore as she has to go back to her country due to the Coronavirus outbreak. 2294-Hua Hua originally lived in the trail of A-Ma Cultural Village (Coloane) with his mother and siblings since 2018, when he was a puppy and they were fed by our Rescue Team and Ms. Hsieh every day. Later, when 2294-Hua Hua was two months old, he was rescued by a foreigner lady in the trail who brought him home. The lady posted the information of 2294-Hua Hua on Facebook and tried to find a family for him. Anima–June Rescue (C2362-Shannon)!

<02-07-2020> C2362-Shannon (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima, after being brought by Mr. Peter, who reported that two days ago he met a cat mother with four kittens near Jockey Club. They were scared and all ran off except one kitten. The kitten, C2362-Shannon, was left behind as both of her hind legs couldn’t move and seemed paralyzed. She was sent to a clinic for an x-ray. Results showed some abnormal vertebrae and it could be caused by malnutrition or infection. According to the vet, it may not recover. C2362-Shannon will stay in the clinic under medical care. Anima-June Rescue (B153-Morpheus)!

<25-06-2020> B153-Morpheus was rescued by Anima on 25th June 2020, after a call from Mr. Tang saying that a baby swallow was lying on flower bed on Rua do Tap Siac. Rescue team went there and saw a baby swift bird, B153-Morpheus, which was very small and active but couldn't fly and there were not nests nearby. Anima-June Rescue (C2360-Dwarfs)!

<20-06-2020> C2360-Dwarfs (M), around eight months old, was rescued by Anima on 20th June 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that an injured cat, C2360-Dwarfs, was found in the backyard of her building. She asked us to help. According to Ms. Cheong, there are some neighbourhood cats gathered in the backyard and howled. She suspects C2360-Dwarfs got bitten by the older cats in that area. C2360-Dwarfs’s right face has an open wound for one month ago and is getting worse by observing a change in color and odor of the fluid oozing from the wound. Rescue Team set a cat trap in the site this and C2360-Dwarfs was caught. C2360-Dwarfs was sent to a clinic and he needs to stay under treatment until recover. Thanks, Ms. Cheong! Anima-June Rescue and Return (SPP2284-Simba)!

<20-06-2020> SPP2284-Simba (M), around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 13th June 2020, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a dog, SPP2284-Simba, was found on the side of the road at Estrada do Repouso near Corpo De Bombeiros without leash and harness. She asked us to help. Our Rescue Team went to the site to check, but there is no number on the microchip scanner and not any useful information about Simba. Ms. Chao also contacted a few animals’ organization in Macau but they have no space. She had two mixed dogs at home already, so. She is unable to have Simba. SPP2284-Simba was fostered by Ms. Chao temporarily because our Dog Shelter is completely full. However, Anima helped with desex. SPP2284-Simba was castrated in a clinic today and he was returned to his foster family after recover from the surgery. Thanks, Ms. Chao! Please help us to help...

June Rescue and Return (SPP2283-Tai Ear Mui)!

<19-06-2020> SPP2282-Wu So Mui (F) and SPP2283-Tai Ear Mui (F), both around one year old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th June 2020. They are under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Work Shop. Anima would support both spay surgery. SPP2283-Tai Ear Mui was neutered today in a clinic and released back to her place in Ka-Ho after recover from surgery. Thanks, Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them!
