Anima–May Rescue (C2339-Bennie)!

<18-05-2020> C2339-Bennie (M), around 3 years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th May 2020, after receive a call from Mr. Lam reporting that he heard a bang near an alley on Rua do Padre João Clímaco. After the sound, he saw a black and white cat lying there, uncapable of moving by himself. Due to the heavy rain, Mr. Lam moved the cat to the shop nearby. C2339-Bennie had a small wound on right front arm. Apparently, he looks fine, but started to pant halfway and was sent to Macau Kennel for consultation. X-ray result showed that his pubic bone was broken and according with the vet, it may not be fixed with a surgery. Anima posted messages on Facebook to find the owner. Anima–May Rescue (2275-Lucky III)!

<18-05-2020> 2275-Lucky III (M), around 2 years old, was rescued by Anima from Macau Kenel on 18th May 2020, after received a call on 28th April 2020 from Mr. Varlei reporting that a male Belgian Malinois was found at Saída do Trilho do Nordeste de Coloane and he was very skinny. Rescue team went to the site but couldn’t catch him as he run away scared. I.A.M. was informed for assist rescue team. 2275-Lucky III was caught by I.A.M on 2nd May and staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine since then. Anima–May Rescue (C2338-Pochacco)!

<16-05-2020> C2338-Pochacco (M), around 2 years old, was rescued by Anima on 15th May 2020, after receive a message on Facebook from Mr. Hugo reporting that a British Shorthair, C2338-Pochacco, was abandoned outside of University of Macau - S1 Building with a pet carrier. Anima asked a professor of UM, Dr. Tang to help as Mr. Hugo cannot keep C2338-Pochacco overnight because pets are not allowed in his dormitory. C2338-Pochacco was fostered by Dr. Tang last night. The cat look skinny and had skin problem on the forehead. According to Dr. Tang, C2338-Pochacco is not willing to eat since he arrived. Blood tests results in a clinic showed that he has anaemia, liver problem and he is positive for feline corona virus. Anima–May Rescue (C2337-Kimball)!

<15-05-2020> C2337-Kimball (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th May 2020, after received a message from Mr. Tang and later a call from Ms. Yu, both reporting that a sick kitten was found in Praça Luís de Camões. Mr. Tang brought the kitten to a clinic for consultation as the kitten has eye infections. Today, our rescue team collected the kitten. C2337-Kimball stays under quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-May Rescue and Return (2273-Ar Wong)!

<14-05-2020> 2273-Ar Wong (M), around nine years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Lee saying that she found a very friendly beagle wandering alone near Sintra Hotel and she sent him to ANIMA Dogs’ shelter. Rescue team checked his microchip and contacted Macau Kennel to find the owner. The owner, Mr. Li, contacted us right afterwards and said that his beagle was adopted from Macau Kennel around four years ago. Ar Wong usually stays on the ground floor in his metal shop on Rua da Águia, where he lives above the shop. Mr. Li opened the gate a little for fresh air and he thinks that the beagle escaped through the gap. Ar Wong was still there last night, but Mr. Li couldn't see him this morning. Anima-May Rescue and Return (2272-Momo)!

<13-05-2020> 2272-Momo (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Mira saying that she went hiking in A-Ma Cultural Village and saw a Samoyed dog wandering alone (with collar) and eventually followed her back home in One Oasis. The Samoyed was staying inside her kitchen but she couldn’t keep him for long as she had two cats there. Rescue team checked his microchip, contacted Macau Kennel to find the owner and it was posted on Facebook. The owner, Ms. Chui, contacted us and said that her helper walks their two dogs every day at the trail in A-Ma Cultural Village but Momo was getting lazy and stayed waiting until they return back. Anima-May Rescue and Return (SPP2086-Yvette)!

<12-05-2020> SPP2086-Yvette (F), around eight months old by the time, has been under our SPP Program since 5th January 2019. Today, she was rescued after a call from Ms. Choi, the responsible person for her, saying that Yvette had wounds on forehead and the back due to a dog fight. Anima–May Rescue (C2335-Feifei)!

<11-05-2020> C2335-Feifei (M), around two years old, was rescued by ANIMA on 11th May 2020, after a call two days before from Mr. Mak, the management of Nam Van Peninsula Carpark, reporting that a ginger cat entered in their carpark and has been living there for a few days. However, they always use rat traps and rat poison, it was not a safe place for a cat living in. Rescue team set a cat trap there and he was caught.
