Anima–April Rescue (SPP1935-Keelan)!

<08-04-2018> SPP1935-Keelan (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 14th October 2017 when she was around eight months old, was rescued by anima after a call from Ms. Peng informing that SPP1935-Keelan was lethargic, paralyzed and with seizures. SPP1935-Keelan was sent to a clinic immediately. The result showed that she has Canine Distemper. SPP1935-Keelan has to stay at the clinic for close observation and treatment. Thanks Ms. Peng! Anima–April Rescue (B093-Flash)!

<07-04-2018> B093-Flash was rescued by Anima on 7th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a baby pigeon, B093-Flash fell down outside of his shop and was unable to fly. He asked us for help. B093-Flash was sent to a clinic. B093-Flash will stay  there for force feeding as it is still young. Thanks Mr. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue (SPP740-Lucky)!

<06-04-2018> SPP740-Lucky (M), was under our Special Protection Program since 2013 and was rescued by Anima on 6th April 2018, after a call from Mr. Seng and Mrs. Hoi informing that SPP740-Lucky’s rump was found swollen. SPP740-Lucky was sent to a clinic for consultation. He had abscesses due to wound infection. The vet helped putting a temporary tube into the wound to drain out pus, blood and fluid from the abscess. SPP740-Lucky is staying at the clinic for treatment. Mrs. Hoi will help us pay for the expenses. Thanks Mr. Seng and Mrs. Hoi! Please help us to help them! Anima–April Rescue (2016-Cadman)!

<05-04-2018> 2016-Cadman (M), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 5th April 2018, with the help of Mr. Lei reporting that he found a puppy, 2016-Cadman, alone in the Cemitério Unido das Associações de Coloane. He brought 2016-Cadman to our Cats’ Paradise for help. 2016-Cadman was checked by our staff and dewormed. He had some ticks and some rashes on his skin. Anima–April Rescue (C1875-Moon)!

<03-04-2018> C1875-Moon (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd April 2018, after a call from Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública (Police force) reporting that a kitten C1875-Moon was found on street with severe injury. C1875-Moon was sent to a clinic immediately. The X-ray report showed that her left hind leg was fractured. Her leg was severe injured and need to be amputated. C1875-Moon has internal bleeding as the bladder was ruptured. She has to stay at the clinic for close observation. Thanks Corpo de Policia de Segurança Pública! Please help us to help them! <01-04-2018> SPP2015-Beanie (F), around seven years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 1st April 2018, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a dog SPP2015-Beanie was hit by a car and was unable to move. He asked us for help. SPP2015-Beanie was sent to a clinic immediately. The report showed that her spleen was swollen. She had internal bleeding and was severe anemic. Anima–March Rescue (SPP2014-Boss)!

<30-03-2018> SPP2014-Boss (M), around six years old, is now under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that she found that SPP2014-Boss was paralyzed on the site. Ms. Lam is responsible for him at that area. She asked us for help. SPP2014-Boss was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, he suspected that SPP2014-Boss was diagnosed Canine Distemper before, and the virus made him paralyzed. Anima–Rescue and Sad News (C1874-Adas)!

<30-03-2018> C1874-Adas (M), around two days old, was rescued by Anima on 30th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that there was a newborn kitten meowing alone under his balcony at Hang Fa Garden. He asked us for help. C1874-Adas was collected by us and temporarily fostered by our staff Ms. Peng for milk feeding. After giving him some milk, some blood came out from his mouth. Anima–March Rescue (C1873-Sharon)!

<29-03-2018> C1873-Sharon (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 29th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that he rescued a cat from a ditch at Tou Tei Temple of Largo do Pagode do Patane. He asked us for help. C1873-Sharon was sent to a clinic immediately. She was very weak, dehydrated, full of fleas on her body and had an eye infection. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2013-Winnie)!

<28-03-2018> SPP2013-Winnie (F),  under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 24th March 2018 when she was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that SPP2013-Winnie was sick, lost weight and walked unsteady. SPP2013-Winnie was sent to a clinic and she diagnosed Canine Distemper. She was returned to her former place after medication. Today we were informed by Mr. Ho saying that SPP2013-Winnie was almost dying at the site. She was sent to a clinic immediately. According to the vet, a lot of maggots were found in her mouth  and she was already in suffer and nothing could be done. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep.
