Anima–March Rescue (C1856-Jill)!

<06-03-2018> C1856-Jill (F), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 6th March 2018,  abandoned outside our Dog Shelter area. C1856-Jill was inside a container bag, hanged on the fence of the Reservoir near our shelter building. She was checked by our staff. She had two wounds on her right thigh and left anus. C1856-Jill was sent to a clinic immediately as the wounds are very deep and large. According to the vet, the wounds cannot be closed by sutures, we need to clean her wounds constantly and be aware of infection. C1856-Jill was diagnosed with cat flu as well. Anima–March Rescue (C1855-Cassian)!

<04-03-2018> C1855-Cassian (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lai reporting that a cat was found in Rua Norte do Patane last night. The cat was very sick and weak, so she asked us for help. C1855-Cassian was sent to a clinic. He was skinny, dehydrated with low temperature, also had feline scabies and dental problems as well. After the prescription of medication at the clinic, C1855-Cassian was collected by us. He was checked by vet and dewormed. He stays at the Cats’ Paradise for quarantine and observation. Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (T011-Nemo)!

<03-03-2018> T011-Nemo was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a turtle T011-Nemo was found on the road at Rua da Ribeira do Patane with the shell broken. She asked us for help. T011-Nemo was sent to a clinic immediately. Unfortunately T011-Nemo  passed away after a few hours at the clinic. The death may be caused by severe shell fracture. Anima–March Rescue (SPP2009-Dolly)!

 <03-03-2018> SPP2009-Dolly (F), around two years old, is now under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2018 during our daily feeding in Coloane. Ms. Chan is responsible for her in that area. SPP2009-Dolly was found trembling and had respiratory problem. She was sent to a clinic and has Canine Distemper. SPP2009-Dolly has to stay in the clinic for close observation and treatment. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP1793-Yaron)!

<03-03-2018> SPP1793-Yaron (M), SPP1794-Yeats (M), SPP1795-Yonca (F) and SPP1796-Yiva (F),  were under our Special Protection Program since 3rd September 2016, when they were all  around two months old . They were the puppies of SPP1761-Senga. They lived in a site at Coloane and Mr. Cheong is responsible for them in that area. Today we were informed that the dead body of SPP1793-Yaron was found in the site. We suspected SPP1793-Yaron died from Canine Distemper. R.I.P. my friend!Please help us to help them! Anima – March Rescue (SPP1704-Dorie)!

<02-03-2018> The mother dog SPP1700-Debbie (F) and her five puppies, SPP1701-Darlin (F), SPP1702-Delina (F), SPP1703-Demi (F), SPP1704-Dorie (F) and SPP1705-Darcy were under our Special Protection Program and were rescued by Anima on 17th April 2016. They lived in Coloane and Mr. Kwok is responsible for them. Recently we found out that SPP1704-Dorie gave birth to five puppies. The puppies are around three weeks old now. We will schedule a date for SPP1704-Dorie to be neutered when she is at appropriate time. Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2006-SPP2008)!

<02-03-2018> SPP2006-Jetta (F), around three years old, SPP2007-Juno (M), around two years old and SPP2008-Junius (M), around two years old, under our Special Protection Program now, were rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018 during the daily feeding in Coloane. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius were found with respiratory illness and head trembling. They were sent to a clinic immediately and they were Canine Distemper positive. SPP2007-Juno and SPP2008-Junius stayed at the clinic for treatment. We found the dead body of SPP2006-Jetta in the site as well. Anima–March Rescue (B091-Braga)!

<02-03-2018> B091-Braga was rescued by Anima on 2nd March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lei reporting that a pigeon B091-Braga was found on the road of Rua de Bragança and was unable to fly. She asked us for help. B091-Braga was sent to a clinic. B091-Braga was dehydrated and starved. B091-Braga stayed at the clinic and was being force feeding. Thanks Ms. Lei!Please help us to help them! February Rescue and Sad News (SPP1999-SPP2005)!

<24-02-2018> The mother dog, SPP1999-Bea (F), around three years old, with the six puppies, SPP2000-Babak (M), SPP2001-Baako (F), SPP2002-Benita (F), SPP2003-Betsy (F), SPP2004-Bettina (F) and SPP2005-Borbala (F), all around 1.5 months old , are under our Special Protection Program now and were rescued by Anima on 24th February 2018 after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that the mother dog SPP1999-Bea gave birth to six puppies one month ago. Mr. Wong is responsible for them in that area. However he found the puppies became lethargic, tired and not eating, especially SPP2005-Borbala was in high fever, nasal and ocular discharge and with seizure as well. He asked us for help. All of them were sent to a clinic immediately. SPP2005-Borbala passed away when we arrived  the clinic.
