<15-01-2017> C1381-William (M), with an estimated age of two years old, together with C1382-Harry (M), with an estimated age of three years old, were rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but now the owner got the place back so she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she had no more space to separate them. William and Harry stayed in our Cat’s Paradise temporarily. Ms. Mui visited us yesterday and explained that she just found a place to transfer the dogs. As so, William and Harry were backed to home already. Never Abandon your pet! Anima–January Return to Family (SPP1770-Whistle)!

<14-01-2017> Whistle was returned to  Mr. Ng on 14th January 2017! SPP1770-Whistle (M), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 years old, were under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, following a call from Ms. Chan, reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM. According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs that were all living in another site. Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment. Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder. As the wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up. <11-01-2017> Jumpy (former Trileg) was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 24 days since 17th December 2016. Jumpy was abandoned on 25 January 2012, because who was in charge of him referred that he barked night time! He was adopted by Shibani on July 8, 2012 and lives happy with the family! Jumpy is a very big and friendly black dog that had a leg very damaged when living in a site in Taipa. We had no choice than to cut his leg! <07-01-2017> 1322-Jasper was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for nine days, since 30th December 2016. 1322-Jasper (M), was rescued by Anima on 14 October 2014, with an estimated age of two months old, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that SPP1260-Mummy gave birth to nine puppies two months ago in a construction site at Ilha Verde. Anima–January Return to Family (C575-Zhai Zhai)!

<06-01-2017> C575-Zhai Zhai was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 33 days, since 4th December 2016. C575-Zhai Zhai (M), was rescued by Anima on 26th August 2013, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that a cat was found with one leg hurt, in a site of Macau. Ms. Lam was the volunteer who helps Anima to take care of dogs and cats in the site. Zhai Zhai was sent to a clinic and stayed there for treatment. Anima decided after the recovery that he has no conditions to go back to that area and as so he became part of our family. Zhai Zhai was adopted by Mr. Victor on 19th December 2014. Anima–January Return to Family (1827-Eris)!

<03-01-2017> 1827-Eris was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 20 days since 15th December 2016. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 50 patacas per day and for cats 30 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 360). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption, provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! So, this program is also conceived to convince community members to be our members and adopters! For a dog, for instance, for a 15 days period, the savings is 750 patacas and for cats 450 patacas, enough to pay two annual membership fees in the first case and one and a quarter year of membership fees...

<02-01-2017> See Wallace when rescued, now and  when adopted! 1625-Wallace was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 13 days since 21st December 2016. 1625-Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016. 1625-Wallace, 1626-Walmond and 1627-Wardell, on the time all two weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2016, after a call from Billy, our vice-president, reporting that Ms. Ian referred to him that they were alone, as several mothers in a construction site were caught by IACM. Anima–December Return to Family (687-Rex)!

<24-12-2016> 687-Rex (M) was returned to the family after accommodation in Anima for 14 days, since 11th December 2016. Ms. Ng and the family came several times to Anima to walk Rex, before adopting Rex! Rex was adopted by Ms. Ng on 20th June 2015. Rex was one of our well known dogs, friendly with people, puppies and all dogs. He was one of our ambassadors! We are happy to see Rex again. <17-12-2016> See Konya now and Konya when adopted! 1721-Konya (F) was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima for 14 days since 3rd December 2016. Konya was adopted by Mr. John Roy on 25th August 2016. SPP1710-Mui Chui II (F), on the time around 1.5 years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2016, after a call from Ms. Ah Peng informing that she was found pregnant somewhere in Coloane. An ultrasound showed that the fetus were already approx. seven weeks old. Anima–December Rescue and Return to Family (1825-Fish)!

<11-12-2016> 1825-Fish (F), with an estimated age of eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 11th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Loi reporting that a dog was found in Rua da Esperanca, near Tap Seac, with a collar. No microchip was found on her. Afterwards we have received a call from the owner telling that Fish escaped from the house when the door was opened. Fish was returned to the owner already.
