Anima–August Return (SPP2284-Simba)!

<08-08-2020> SPP2284-Simba (M), around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program since the 13th June, 2020 after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a dog was found on the side of a road in Macau, without leash and harness. Our rescue team went to the site and verified that he had no microchip. Due to the lack of space in our shelter, Simba had to stay under Ms. Chao’s temporary foster care and Anima have supported a desex surgery. For these last months, Ms. Chao has taken care of Simba and even generously provided training in order to smooth his adaptation to his future forever home. Ms. Chao, however, already has two dogs and was unable to keep him for a long term. We finally managed to get some space for Simba and he is now in our shelter. We are grateful for your...

Anima-August Rescue and Return (SPP1902-Farley)!

<07-08-2020> SPP1902-Farley (M), around four years old, has been under our SPP program since the 23rd June 2017, under Mr. Alex’s responsibility. On 25th July 2020, Mr. Alex reported that Farley was limping on its right hind leg. Medication was prescribed, but he was not getting better. SPP1902-Farley was sent to a clinic. X-ray showed right hip joint have luxation and also right stifle joint suspected to have osteoarthritis, maybe caused by an old fracture. He might have pain occasionally due to osteoarthritis. According to the vet, he will never have a fully recover from a surgery. SPP1902-Farley went back to his site in Coloane. Thanks, Mr. Alex! Please help us to help them! Anima-August Return (SPP2279-Nancy)!

<04-08-2020> SPP2276-Moana (F), SPP2277-Eeyore (M), SPP2278-Fancy (F), all around three years old, with their two puppies, SPP2279-Nancy (F) and SPP2280-Clancy (F), both around three months old by the time they were rescued, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 25th May 2020. Today, SPP2279-Nancy was spayed in a clinic and Anima supported it. Nancy returned back today to Ka Ho Work Shop and she is still under Mr. Ip’s responsibility. Thanks, Mr. Ip! Anima-August Return (C2233-Brook)!

<01-08-2020> C2233-Brook (M), around one month old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 16th November 2019, after a call reporting that one kitten was found abandoned in a box. He was sent to a clinic and was then welcome at our Cat's Paradise. Brook would later be adopted on 14th May 2020. Recently, however, the adopter has complained about his behavior and it seems that he wasn’t able to fully adapt to his new home successfully. C2233-Brook was returned to Anima today. Anima-July Return (2264-Paza)!

<04-07-2020> 8 Puppies, 2258-Paige (M), 2259-Pax (M), 2260-Presley (M), 2261-Piers (M), 2262-Penley (M), 2263-Panya (F), 2264-Paza (F) and 2265-Pamina (F), all around two months old by the time, were rescued by ANIMA on 18th April 2020, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that a puppy their sibling, 2257-Pitt, had been injured from a dog fight in Coloane, near Escola de São José de Ka-Ho. Paza was adopted on 11th June 2020! Recently, the adopter complained about her behavior because Paza spends a lot of time destroying the families’ furniture. Anima–June Return (SPP2234, SPP2236)!

<28-06-2020> SPP2234-Benson, SPP2235-Stacey, SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2237-Sabella, all siblings around 3 months old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 8th March 2020, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that SPP2237-Sabella was found dead in the site without any signs or symptoms of diseases. SPP2236-Betzy and SPP2234-Benson were adopted on the 20th October 2019, but they returned to Anima on 30th April 2020 to be fostered right away. Both were returned to Anima today. <26-06-2020> C1319-Root (M), was rescued by Anima on 27th October 2016 with an estimated age of three months old, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua de Seng Tou. He has been in our Cats’ Paradise. C1319-Root and C1163-Maddie were adopted on 19thNovember 2016! Today, Anima received a call from an adopter’s acquainted reporting that the adopter had to leave Macau due to her not renewed blue card and she cannot take care of both anymore. Anima–June Return (C2080-Zenov)!

<25-06-2020> C2080-Zenov (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima along with his mother C2078-Zora and his sister C2079-Zena on 27th January 2019, after being found by Ms. Mak, near S. Lourenço Municipal Market Complex. All of them stayed in our Cats’ Paradise. Zenov was adopted on 20th April 2019! Today, Anima received a call from the adopter of C1942-Starfruit and C2080-Zenov, reporting that the family cannot keep C2080-Zenov anymore. She mentioned that he cries many times causing sleepless night for the family and neighbors have been complaining as well. Also, Zenov does not let the family to carry him and when he plays with Starfruit, he causes severe injuries that the other cat needed to go to a clinic several times. Desex was suggested by Anima, but it was not a solution for him as Zenov’s behavior didn’t improve much after surgery. C2080-Zenov was returned to our Cats’ Paradise today! Please...

Anima-June Rescue and Return (SPP2284-Simba)!

<20-06-2020> SPP2284-Simba (M), around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 13th June 2020, after a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a dog, SPP2284-Simba, was found on the side of the road at Estrada do Repouso near Corpo De Bombeiros without leash and harness. She asked us to help. Our Rescue Team went to the site to check, but there is no number on the microchip scanner and not any useful information about Simba. Ms. Chao also contacted a few animals’ organization in Macau but they have no space. She had two mixed dogs at home already, so. She is unable to have Simba. SPP2284-Simba was fostered by Ms. Chao temporarily because our Dog Shelter is completely full. However, Anima helped with desex. SPP2284-Simba was castrated in a clinic today and he was returned to his foster family after recover from the surgery. Thanks, Ms. Chao! Please help us to help...

June Rescue and Return (SPP2283-Tai Ear Mui)!

<19-06-2020> SPP2282-Wu So Mui (F) and SPP2283-Tai Ear Mui (F), both around one year old, became under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th June 2020. They are under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a Ka-Ho Work Shop. Anima would support both spay surgery.
