Anima–May Return (SPP2276-Moana)!

<01-06-2020> SPP2276-Moana (F), around three years old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 25th May 2020, under Mr. Ip’s responsibility in Ka-Ho Workshop. SPP2276-Moana was scheduled for sterilization in a clinic, today. After blood test results before the surgery, she was diagnosed positive for Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichia Canis (Tick Fever). She was spayed in the clinic and medication was prescribed. SPP2276-Moana was returned to Ka-Ho Workshop after being neutered. Thanks, Mr. Ip! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Abandoned and Rescue (C1163-Maddie)!

<28-05-2020> C1163-Maddie (F), was rescued by Anima on 16th April 2016 with an estimated age of two years old by the time, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a pregnant cat was found in Toi San. C1319-Root (M), around three months old by the time, was rescued by Anima on 27th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua de Seng Tou. Maddie and Root were adopted by Ms. Campbell on 19th November 2016! Ms. Campbell had to move back to her home country unexpectedly, due to CoViD-19 and  she gave Maddie to an ex-colleague. Unfortunately, her colleague can’t take care of the cat. C1163-Maddie was returned to our Cat’s Paradise today! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Return (SPPC2347-Calista)!

<26-05-2020> SPPC2347-Calista (F), around three years old, is under our SPP and she is the mother of four kittens, SPPC2341-Calie (M), SPPC2342-Calvin (M), SPPC2343-Colleen (F) and SPPC2344-Cyris (M). She was rescued by Anima on 21st May 2020, after receive a Facebook message from Ms. Carla reporting that in her work place, Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro, there was a family of a mother cat with four unhealthy kittens. All cats were caught by Ms. Carla and they were sent to a clinic. The mother was neutered and vaccinated. Her four kittens are kept safely in the clinic. Anima–May Foster Family (2160-Valensha)!

<25-05-2020> Valensha was returned to Anima by her foster family, today! 2159-Vaesna and 2160-Valensha, both female around two months old, were rescued by Anima on 1st September 2019, after receiving an e-mail by Ms. Victoria who found two sibling puppies of which one was injured. Both, Vaesna and Valensha, were successfully rescued and welcomed in our Dog’s Shelter by the time! Valensha was fostered by Ms. Iam. However, Valensha didn’t adapt well to her new home environment and got depression, started lose appetite and weight. 2160-Valensha came back to our Dogs’ Shelter, today! Please help us to help them! Anima–May Return (SPPC2345-Chico)!

<22-05-2020> SPPC2345-Chico (M), around nine years and five months old, became part of our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Carla’s Responsibility on 21st May 2020. He was caught by Ms. Carla as she was trying to catch the mother cat from the kittens SPPC2341-Calie, SPPC2342-Calvin, SPPC2343-Colleen and SPPC2344-Cyris. Chico was sent to a clinic to be neutered. Anima–May Rescue (C2337-Kimball)!

<15-05-2020> C2337-Kimball (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th May 2020, after received a message from Mr. Tang and later a call from Ms. Yu, both reporting that a sick kitten was found in Praça Luís de Camões. Mr. Tang brought the kitten to a clinic for consultation as the kitten has eye infections. Today, our rescue team collected the kitten. C2337-Kimball stays under quarantine in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima-May Rescue and Return (2273-Ar Wong)!

<14-05-2020> 2273-Ar Wong (M), around nine years old, was rescued by Anima on 14th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Lee saying that she found a very friendly beagle wandering alone near Sintra Hotel and she sent him to ANIMA Dogs’ shelter. Rescue team checked his microchip and contacted Macau Kennel to find the owner. The owner, Mr. Li, contacted us right afterwards and said that his beagle was adopted from Macau Kennel around four years ago. Ar Wong usually stays on the ground floor in his metal shop on Rua da Águia, where he lives above the shop. Mr. Li opened the gate a little for fresh air and he thinks that the beagle escaped through the gap. Ar Wong was still there last night, but Mr. Li couldn't see him this morning. Anima-May Rescue and Return (2272-Momo)!

<13-05-2020> 2272-Momo (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 13th May 2020, after a call from Ms. Mira saying that she went hiking in A-Ma Cultural Village and saw a Samoyed dog wandering alone (with collar) and eventually followed her back home in One Oasis. The Samoyed was staying inside her kitchen but she couldn’t keep him for long as she had two cats there. Rescue team checked his microchip, contacted Macau Kennel to find the owner and it was posted on Facebook. The owner, Ms. Chui, contacted us and said that her helper walks their two dogs every day at the trail in A-Ma Cultural Village but Momo was getting lazy and stayed waiting until they return back. The helper was advised that Momo should be on leash with them from now on. 2272-Momo returned today to his family in One Oasis! Thanks, Ms. Mira! Please help...

Anima-May Rescue and Return (SPP2086-Yvette)!

<12-05-2020> SPP2086-Yvette (F), around eight months old by the time, has been under our SPP Program since 5th January 2019. Today, she was rescued after a call from Ms. Choi, the responsible person for her, saying that Yvette had wounds on forehead and the back due to a dog fight. Anima–May Rescue (SPP2191-Ar Chu)!

<09-05-2020> SPP2191-Ar Chu (F), around one year and five months old by the time, she is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 31st October 2019, in Hac Sa Workshop where there is a person responsible. Today, she had a neutered surgery in a veterinary clinic. After medication prescribed, SPP2191-Ar Chu went back to her site safely. Anima will provide food and medical care as long it is needed.
