December New dogs under SPP (SPP1954-SPP1962)!

<21-12-2017> The mother, SPP1954-Oceana (F), around two years old, with her eight puppies, SPP1955-Oringo (M), SPP1956-Orion (M), SPP1957-Osmar (M), SPP1958-Owen (M), SPP1959-Orton (M), SPP1960-Otis (M), SP01961-Olga (F) and SPP1962-Ohanna (F), all around two months old,  now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued by Anima after a call from Mr. Di on 21st December 2017. They live in a site of Macau. Mr. Di is responsible for them in that area. Anima will support the neuter, food and the medical care for them. Thanks Mr. Di! Please help us to help them! Anima-December New Dog under SPP (SPP1950-Yellow)!

<16-12-2017> SPP1950-Yellow (M), around one year old, is  under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 16th December 2017, after a call from Mr. Yeong reporting that he found an injured dog in a site. SPP1950-Yellow is living in the same area of SPP1935-Keelan and SPP1936-Keanna, all are taking care by Ms. Peng. We set a trap over there and we will be informed when SPP1950-Yellow is caught. Anima–September Rescue (SPPC1711-Abigail)!

<12-09-2017> SPPC1711-Abigail (F), around four months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 12th September 2017, after a call from Michele reporting that a kitten needed medical support. SPPC1711-Abigail has high fever with sonorous breathing, ocular discharge and upper respiratory tract infections. She was back to her place after medication prescribed. <05-09-2017> SPPC1700-Corra (F) and SPPC1701-Colt (M), both around two months old, SPPC1702-Pip (M), around four months old, now all under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued by Anima on 5th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that there were some kittens that need to be neutered, somewhere in Taipa. Ms. Cheng is responsible for them in that area. She will contact us once the kittens are old enough to receive the surgery. Anima will support the neuter and the medical care for them. Anima–September Rescue (SPP1925-Stefan)!

<04-09-2017> SPP1925-Stefan (M), around three years old,  now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 4th September 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that a dog was hit by a car in a site. SPP1925-Stefan was sent to a clinic for consultation and subject to an x-ray. The report showed that he is paralysed as his spine was broken. According to the vet, there is not much chance that he can walk again even if he has a surgery. Anima has not capacity to handle this situation  in its shelter as Anima has  around 400 dogs and 300 cats in its shelters and has  only 21 handlers and no space at all for him! We can’t provide a suitable environment for him in our overcrowded shelter and he is in pain unless under sedation. We have asked other animal welfare associations if they have capacity to handle this case, but they...

Anima–August Rescue (SPP1923-Box)!

<24-08-2017> SPP1923-Box (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that four dogs were injured in a site due to typhoon Hato. Ms. Hoi brought one of them to a clinic and asked us to help the other three dogs. She managed to catch SPP1923-Box today. SPP1923-Box was limping and he was checked in our clinic. He was returned to his place after medication prescribed. Ms. Hoi will help us to catch the other two dogs. She is responsible for them in that area. <22-08-2017> SPPC1694-Judd (M), around five months old, SPPC1695-Kim (M), around three months old, SPPC1696-Kirk (M) and SPPC1697-Kyra (F), both around four months old, are now under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2017, through Michele, reporting that four kittens needed medication support. SPPC1694-Judd’s left eye seems blind already and he also has nasal and ocular discharge. He is staying with us under medication and observation.
