Anima–March Return (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<02-03-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) after being rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, with around two years old, following a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight in a site in Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Hugo was suppose to get removed the stitches on February 20, but we found the wound was not healed yet. He stayed with us until he recovered and now was released. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Mr. Leong! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Rescue and New Cat Under SPP (SPPC1436, SPPC1437)!

<27-02-2017> SPPC1436-Cally (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPPC1437-Calla (F), with an estimated age of nine months old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), were rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 27th February 2017, somewhere in Taipa. They were dewormed, received the 1st vaccination and returned to their former place after body check. Michele is responsible for them in that area. <05-02-2017> SPPC1416-Barry (M), with an estimated age of three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2017, after a call from Michele, reporting that her friend, Mr. Daniel, found a kitten near Ponte 16 last night. Barry was checked by our vet and dewormed. He has diarrhea and upper respiratory tract infection. He is fostered temporarily by Michele as he needs medication. Thanks Michele and Mr. Daniel! Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1830-Pousada)!

<28-12-2016> SPP1830-Pousada (F), with an estimated age of three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 28th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Cheng reporting that a puppy accidently entered inside the cat trap that was set by us in a place of Coloane. The cat trap is for catching  stray cats over there for neutering! Pousada was checked by our vet and has no injury. She was returned to her former place after dewormed. <26-12-2016> SPP1829-Borsa (F), with an estimated age of seven years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, our Board member, reporting that her friend, Ms. Hui, used to feed a dog in a site of Taipa. Borsa got injured on the leg and the hip few days ago. We helped Ms. Hui to send Borsa to a clinic as Borsa is difficult to handle. Borsa was returned to her former place after medication prescribed. Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1711-Browny)!

<24-12-2016> Browny was released on 24th December 2016! SPP1711-Browny (F), with an estimated age of one year old, together with SPP1712-La La and SPP1713-Hac Chai 2, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 26th April 2016. La La and Hac Chai 2, that were caught by IACM, are now living in Coloane Kennel under our supervision. Browny was rescued by Anima on 4th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that she accidently hit Browny in a site of Coloane. Browny’s right hind leg was limping. She was sent to a clinic and Ms. Peng was responsible for the payment of the clinic. Browny had a surgery in the same day. She has recovered and was returned to her former place today. Anima–Dog Under SPP Returned (SPP1814-Doto)!

<13-12-2016> Doto was released on 13th December 2016! SPP1814-Doto (M), was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 15th November 2016, with an estimated age of one year old, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that a dog was hit by a car in Seac Pai Van. His right front leg was crushed by car and the ankle was swollen and deformed. Doto was sent to a clinic and x-ray showed that the leg had fracture. The vet fixated the fracture part, and it was healed by himself with bandage and treatment. Doto has been staying in the clinic until he has fully recovered.
