Anima – August Return (SPP1788-Lucas)!

<20-08-2016> Lucas was released on 20th August 2016! SPP1788-Lucas (M), around three years old, was under our Special Protection Program and rescued by Anima on 19th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a dog was found limping in Estr. da Aldeia (Near Tam Kong Temple) few days ago. Lucas was sent to a clinic for consultation and x-rays. Report showed that his right front limb was injured and left untreated, which causing it deformed already. He was neutered and stayed in clinic for observation. Today he was returned to his former place, where Ms. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Please help us to help them! Anima – August Return (SPP1771-Fat Boy)!

<18-08-2016> Fat Boy was released on 18th August 2016! SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), around 2.5 years old, together with SPP1770-Whistle (M), around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM. According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs and they were all living in another site. Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment. Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder. The wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up. Fat Boy had two wounds on the testicular, the left thigh got a deep holes as well, he was sutured with eight stitches and castrated. Both of them were staying in clinic for observation. Anima – August return (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<06-08-2016> SPPC1254-Carrick (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he had ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our cat Supervisor Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was returned to his former place today. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Anima – August return (SPPC976, SPPC1249)!

<05-08-2016> SPPC976-Joey (F), was under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, was rescued by Anima on 17th, March 2016, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. Joey was found pregnant before spayed. She gave birth to two kittens C1198-Jocoba and C1199-Jocobina in Anima, they are going to be adopted next week. Joey was spayed already. SPPC1249-Caramel (F), around two months old, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 3rd August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Caramel was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. No cat flu symptoms were found through auscultation, but she had ringworm infection over the body and paws. She was staying with us for observation and medication. Anima – July Rescue and New SPP Dog (SPP1762-Chicco)!

<30-07-2016> SPP1762-Chicco (F), around three years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 30th July 2016, after a call from a lady reporting that Chicco was one of the 28 dogs that she has been taking care of in her house, and she needed to be spayed. Anima has been supporting food and medical care for all of her dogs since 17th April 2014. This is a distressed situation that we do not advice anyone to deal with! July SPP Dog Return to the Site (SPP1760-Hac Mui III)!

<27-07-2016> SPP1760-Hac Mui III (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd July 2016, after a call from Ms. Chui reporting that a dog entered in a construction site of Ilha Verde since two months ago and she was found in heat. Hac Mui III was sent to a clinic for pregnancy ultrasound exam and the result showed negative. She was spayed and she had been staying in the clinic for few days. Cats Return to the Site (SPPC975, SPPC1135, SPPC1138)!

SPPC975-Julie was under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015 and was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that she needed de-sex surgeries. She stayed in shelter from 17th March 2016 until now. SPPC1135-William, around three years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 27th February 2016. He was rescued by Anima after a call from Michele reporting that he was found sick somewhere in Taipa. According to Michele, William was sneezing lately ans was infested of fleas. William was diagnosed with flea infection. He had skin lesion on both ears and across the body, and hair loss on his back. Anima – May Return (SPP1691-Tiger II)!

SPP1691-Tiger II was released on 6th May 2016! SPP1691-TigerII, around four years old, is under our Special Protection Program from 28th March 2016! He was living in a construction site and our rescue team was responsible for him in the area. He was found not eating, getting skinny and with nausea. SPP1691-Tiger II was sent to a clinic for consultation and ran a tick fever test. The test result was positive. SPP1691-Tiger II stayed in Anima up to today when was released in good conditions! Anima – May Rescue and Return (SPP1687-Clinat)!

SPP1687-Clinat (F), around two years old, with her son SPP1686-Clino (M), on the time around 2.5 months old were under our Special Protection Program from the 21st March 2016, after a call from Mr. Lei reporting that SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat live in a construction site somewhere in Macau. According to Mr. Lei, SPP1686-Clino and SPP1687-Clinat were very skinny even though there was a man feeding the dogs very often, but they were too afraid to come out to eat the food.
