<20-06-2021> Our efforts to reduce the number of stray animals in Macau have continued today with one more dog being rescued, spayed and returned. SPP2371-Hac Mui III (F), around one year old, is registered in our Special Protection Program (SPP) and living under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a construction site at Povoação de Lai Chi Vun. Today, Hac Mui III was rescued, spayed in a clinic and safely returned to her original site after surgery. Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-June Rescue and Return (SPP2373, SPP2374, SPP2375)!

<19-06-2021> Three dogs under our SPP program received assistance from Anima today. SPP2373-Aerobic (M), SPP2374-Queen (F) and SPP2375-MoMo (F), all between two and three years old, live in a Ka-Ho car shop under Mr. Ng's responsibility. They were registered under our SPP program yesterday, when Mr. Ng has asked us for help as Aerobic showed up with a head injury. Queen and MoMo also have health issues and have been losing weight. Our team managed to rescue Aerobic and Queen today and sent them to a clinic. The wounds of Aerobic were treated and he returned to his original site after consultation. SPP2374-Queen, however, has severe anemia and a blood transfusion was needed. She tested POSITIVE with Ehrlichia, Babesia Canis and Anaplasma. One of our dogs, 1607-Eerika, was brought to the clinic for blood donation. She was the hero of the day and returned to our shelter after...

Anima–June Rescue and Return (SPP2370-Sai Ngan Mui)!

<12-06-2021> SPP2370-Sai Ngan Mui (F), a dog around one year old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since June 12th, 2021. She is living under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a construction site in Cotai. To prevent her from getting pregnant, Sai Ngan Mui was rescued today and sent to a clinic, in order to be neutered. Spayed and recovered, Sai Ngan Mui was returned to the original site after surgery. These efforts are part of Anima’s commitment to reduce the number of stray dogs in Macau. Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Return (SPP2368, SPP2369)!

<30-05-2021> SPP2368-Fung Fung (F) and SPP2369-Fire (F), two dogs under our Special Protection Program, were rescued by Anima on the 21st and 23rd of May, 2021. They are living under Ms. Li’s responsibility in a Car Shop in Taipa and they were rescued in order to be desexed in a clinic. Now neutered and recovered, Fung Fung and Fire were returned to their original site today. These efforts are part of Anima’s commitment to reduce the number of stray dogs in Macau. Anima-April Rescue and Return (SPP2311, SPP2312)!

<19-04-2021> SPP2310-Myra (F), SPP2311-Myrna (F) and SPP2312-Myron (M), all around one month old by the time, were registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 5th November, 2020. It was reported then that three puppies were wandering near Hac Sa Beach. The mother dog was always in the mountains and it was very difficult to approach. Two dogs, SPP2311-Myrna and SPP2312-Myron, would eventually stay under the responsibility of some volunteers working near the beach. Myrna and Myron, now around seven months old, were rescued by Anima today, neutered in a private clinic and returned to their former area after surgery. Anima–September SPP Return (SPP2028-Zara)!

<24-09-2018> SPP2028-Zara (F), was under our Special Protection Program on 9th June 2018 when she was around three months old, and rescued by Anima on 24th September 2018 for desex. They were rescued by Anima on 30th August 2018 as they were prepared to desex at a clinic today. After the surgery, they were returned to the former place.
