October Rescue and Return (SPPC1740, SPPC1741)!

<26-10-2017> SPPC1740-Cassia (F), together with SPPC1741-Castor (M), both around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 26th October 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They are now under our Special Protection Program. They were brought to Anima for check up. Both of them have nasal and eye discharge. After medication was prescribed, they returned to their place under Michele's responsibility. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! October Rescue and Return (SPPC1617, SPPC1671)!

<26-10-2017> SPPC1617-Dee (M), around four months old, was under our Special Protection Program since 27th June 2017. SPPC1671-Nik (M), around four months old, was under our Special Protection Program since 24th July 2017. Both were rescued by Anima on 26th October 2017, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. They were brought to Anima as they were sick. SPPC1617-Dee was found sneezing and with conjunctivitis. SPPC1671-Nik was found only with conjunctivitis. After medication was prescribed, they returned to their place under Michele's responsibility. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–September Rescue (SPPC1711-Abigail)!

<12-09-2017> SPPC1711-Abigail (F), around four months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 12th September 2017, after a call from Michele reporting that a kitten needed medical support. SPPC1711-Abigail has high fever with sonorous breathing, ocular discharge and upper respiratory tract infections. She was back to her place after medication prescribed. Anima–September Return (SPP1441-Elvira)!

<10-09-2017> SPP1441-Elvira (F), around five years old now, was rescued by Anima on 9th April  2015, after a call from Mr. Wai, a bus driver, reporting that SPP1441-Elvira was hit by a truck somewhere in Macau. She was immediately taken to a vet clinic for surgery. Happily no bone was broken! All costs were born by Anima and we gave to Elvira the status of SPP. After the recovery, she was under our supervision in her place as she was back home on 4th June 2015. We received a call from Ms. Peng on 11th August 2017, telling that SPP1441-Elvira had a nose bleeding for few days and she was very weak. SPP1441-Elvira was sent to a clinic for further examination. Blood test showed that she had tick fever and severe anemia. She had been staying in the clinic for observation and treatment and backed to Anima on 14th August 2017. She stayed with us...

Anima–September Return (SPPC1244-Jeff)!

<08-09-2017> SPPC1244-Jeff (M), on the time around three months old, under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 27th July 2016, after a call from Michele, reporting that SPPC1244-Jeff needed medical care. SPPC1244-Jeff was brought back to Anima on 6th April 2017 and 19th July 2017 due to gingivitis. He came on 5th September 2017 again because he was dehydrated and weak. His gingivitis was getting worse and cause him pain to eat. He stayed with us for treatment and was back to his former place today. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Anima–August Rescue (SPP1923-Box)!

<24-08-2017> SPP1923-Box (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 24th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Hoi reporting that four dogs were injured in a site due to typhoon Hato. Ms. Hoi brought one of them to a clinic and asked us to help the other three dogs. She managed to catch SPP1923-Box today. SPP1923-Box was limping and he was checked in our clinic. He was returned to his place after medication prescribed. Ms. Hoi will help us to catch the other two dogs. She is responsible for them in that area. Anima–August Rescue and Return (SPP1406-Money)!

<22-08-2017> SPP1406-Money (F), on the time around 4.5 years old that was under our Special Protection Program since 7th February 2015, lives in a friendly association, somewhere in Coloane. We were informed that Money had been vomiting in the morning. We found some onion in her food bowl, suspected to have onion toxicity. She was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. A report showed that everything was alright, and we will keep an eye on her in the next few days. She was returned to her former place after consultation. Today we were informed that Money was limping. She has skin problem and also some bruises were found in the leg. Money is backed to her place after medication prescribed. Please help us to help them! <22-08-2017> SPPC1694-Judd (M), around five months old, SPPC1695-Kim (M), around three months old, SPPC1696-Kirk (M) and SPPC1697-Kyra (F), both around four months old, are now under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2017, through Michele, reporting that four kittens needed medication support. SPPC1694-Judd’s left eye seems blind already and he also has nasal and ocular discharge. He is staying with us under medication and observation. Anima–August Rescue (SPPC1181-Davian)!

<17-08-2017> SPPC1181-Davian (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele on 29th April 2016, being around one month old and came back to Anima on 7 March 2017 for consultation. Davian had gingivitis and felt pain when eating. The gums were very red and inflamed. On 24th March 2017, he came again for the same reason. Davian was rescued again on 18th May 2017, and brought to Anima for consultation. He continues to have gingivitis. SPPC1181-Davian stayed in V6 for treatment and observation. Anima–August Return (SPP1829-Borsa)!

<12-08-2017> SPP1829-Borsa (F), on the time with an estimated age of seven years old, was under our Special Protection Program when was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2016, after a call from Ms. Gina, reporting that her friend, Ms. Hui, used to feed a dog in a site of Taipa. Borsa got injured on the leg and the hip. We helped Ms. Hui to send Borsa to a clinic as Borsa was difficult to handle. Borsa was returned to her former place after medication prescribed. We were informed by Ms. Hui again that SPP1829-Borsa was injured on 22nd July 2017. She had a big wound on her back. SPP1829-Borsa was sent to a clinic and she received a surgery to close up the wound with 14 stitches. She stayed with us until she recovered and now was released.
