Anima – Ian is the foster family of C691-Onion!
Please see Onion when was rescued and now being fostered by Ian.
We are happy with the work of our staff taking care of so many animals!
We have four staff, sometimes five, totally dedicated to cats, but they are not enough to keep a close eye on all.
As cats are free in Anima, it is more difficult to detect anything wrong to them earlier in advance!
This is the price of freedom!
Freedom is not subject to negotiation!
Caging is insane, unless temporarily and during treatment!
SPCAs that cages animals should be closed!

In our crowded environment we try our best to have a close look to all our cats but we do not succeed always!
C691-Onion was rescued by Anima, aging five months old, on 8th April 2014, at Flora Garden.
He was very sick on the time.
Onion was now fostered by Ian.
We can not guarantee that our shelter is totally safety for cats, as we have around 160 cats at Anima.
Hygiene conditions are very good, our rules are very tough regarding animals that come in and the needs of quarantine, but even with all our commitment to make the best for them, even if we always try to avoid mistakes, any virus may spread very fast in this environment.
A shelter is not the best place for any animal.
So we decided to promote the foster families for cats!
At least they will be in a safety environment for a while and may be adopted later by the family!
