Anima–July Sad News (SPP1881-James)!

SPP1881-James (M), with an estimated age of two years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 12th May 2017, after a call from Mr. Fung reporting that SPP1881-James was living somewhere in a site in Cotai under his responsibility and asked us to help supporting food for SPP1881-James.
As he does not work there every day, our rescue team was responsible to give food to SPP1881-James every day!
Mr. Fong informed us that SPP1881-James was unable to walk and stand on 12th July.
He was sent to a clinic for an x-rays.
The report showed that there was no fractures in the spin or hips.
The vet suspected that SPP1881-James had neurological problem.
He was sent to a second clinic for further examination on 13th July as his spirit was getting worse.
According to the second vet, he had ehrlichia and the spinal disc was injured.
SPP1881-James was staying in the clinic for laser treatment but the treatment didn’t work on him at all.
He began to enter in suffer!
After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision!
