Anima – September Sad News (C1285-Wellis)!

C1285-Wellis (F), three months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th September 2016, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a kitten was found in a street.
He sent Wellis to a clinic as she was having a seizure.
According to the clinic, Wellis had congenital epilepsy, parasite infection and upper respiratory infection.
He brought Wellis home but she suddenly lost control and struck herself on the wall.
Mr. Leong had no way to take care of her and asked our help.
We sent Wellis to a second clinic and see if we could do anything to help her.
According to the second clinic, her congenital epilepsy caused her having seizure every 15 minutes and she was suffering a lot.
After discussed with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision!
We do not want to involve the people who rescue animals with those sad decisions. However we always inform them after the euthanasia is done as for us only Anima should take this difficult decision.
