Anima Volunteers News
First of all, thank you for signing up to work as our Anima volunteer.We are now activating our database of volunteers in order to benefit from your dedication to our cause. We have a total of 369 applications from members of our community for different types of volunteer work. We appreciate your interest to take time out for such a noble cause. We are happy to schedule and assign appropriate tasks according to your stated preferences. By adhering to Anima’s working guidelines, we trust that your availability and dedication could enhance our effort to provide a safe shelter for all our animals. Our team look forwarding to counting on the service you so selflessly render to Anima in a stable and consistent manner.To be effective, we need you to inform us in advance before you pay us a visit for volunteering work. Anima has two main locations that would require your assistance:
(1) 14th floor (F/G), Si Toi Building in Macau, for any type of work not involving animals;
(2) Our shelter in Coloane for any type of work, mainly with animals or for participating in the daily work of our rescue team.
Our Coloane animal shelter currently only have one supervisor overseeing the administration and operation of the shelter. Please understand that we need to be informed of your availability three days in advance in order to prepare your work in an effective way. Later in June, we will have a full time staff in the shelter to coordinate the volunteering work. Once we have set up a routine roster for the tasks assigned to volunteers, you don’t need to inform us in advance (even if we always recommend you to do so) as we will be able to receive and allocate a task to you.
