Anima–January Return to Family (SPP1770-Whistle)!

Whistle was returned to Mr. Ng on 14th January 2017!
SPP1770-Whistle (M), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 years old, were under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, following a call from Ms. Chan, reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM.
According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs that were all living in another site.
Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment.
Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder.
As the wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up.
Whistle had a severe bleeding and was under IV Dripping.
Fat Boy had two wounds on the testicles, the left thigh got a deep hole as well.
He was sutured with eight stitches and castrated.
Both of them stayed in the clinic for a while.
Whistle had recovered and was adopted on 9th October 2016.
We were informed by the adopter on 1st December 2016 that he couldn’t keep Whistle anymore as Whistle had fungal problem.
The vet bill was expensive and the family was complaining.
Whistle was delivered to Macau Kennel by the adopter, requested by us.
Once we were informed by IACM, we have collected him back to Anima immediately.
Whistle had become part of the life of that adopter’s son in spite of what have happened.
He came every week to visit Whistle and finally he convinced the family to let him have Whistle again.
