Anima–July Sad News (SPP1203-Mui Mui)!
<25-07-2017>
SPP1203-Mui Mui (F), a white dog, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP), together with SPP819-Gor Gor (M), a dark brown dog, from 22nd January 2014, and they were living near Miramar Restaurant in Coloane.
We have detected the disappearance of Mui Mui on 17th July 2017 and we tried immediately to find her.
We were not able to find her before today, even using Gor Gor with us.
Mui Mui was a very gentle lady and never went too far away of her place.
Anima has provided two houses for Mui Mui and Gor Gor inside Miramar area, and they were being taken care by the staff of Miramar Restaurant and by Anima rescue team!
It’s strange that she disappeared and didn’t come back to her place as she wasn’t collected by IACM.
This has never happened in the past!
Her body was found this morning in the bushes of Estrada do Altinho de Ka Ho, opposite to the reservoir, very near Anima.
It seems a provocation!
Our staff found a very bad smell that was coming out from the bushes, on the way to their work in Anima.
We recognized the blue collar of Mui Mui and confirmed her microchip afterwards.
Mui Mui’s body was checked, her right side rib was broken and seems that she was hit by a hard object.
We have reported this case to the police to find out why Mui Mui’s body was found near Anima, as she never went out from Miramar to Anima, and never went that far.
Her body was autopsied by IACM and we will wait for the final opinion.
We need to know the truth!
Mui Mui was so friendly to everyone, she was an angel and we already miss her!
At the moment all data collected bys us seems to show that this was a severe case of cruelty.
How can her head be completely clear, with no soft tissue at all that disappeared or degenerated so fast, when the remaining body was intact, only with some rips broken?
And why she was found so far away of her original place (she was found between Seac Pai Wan and Anima), where she has all the food she needs?
We are waiting for the result of the CCTV cameras that exist in that road, a process already authorized by the Police!
Our feeling is that she was deliberated killed!
We will not disclose those terrible pictures of her body as we want all her friends to remember her as she was, a beautiful and gentle lady!
R.I.P. my friend!
Please help us to help them!
