Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (SPP2013-Winnie)!

SPP2013-Winnie (F), under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima on 24th March 2018 when she was around two years old, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that SPP2013-Winnie was sick, lost weight and walked unsteady.
SPP2013-Winnie was sent to a clinic and she diagnosed Canine Distemper.
She was returned to her former place after medication.
Today we were informed by Mr. Ho saying that SPP2013-Winnie was almost dying at the site.
She was sent to a clinic immediately.
According to the vet, a lot of maggots were found in her mouth and she was already in suffer and nothing could be done.
After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep.
Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision!
