Anima–April Rescue (SPP2255-Lek Chai)!

SPP2255-Lek Chai (M), around seven months old and under our Special Protection Program (SPP) now, was rescued by Anima on 11th April 2020, after a call from Mr. Cheong, a fireman reporting that a puppy was shivering and unable to move with excessive fatigue in his working area of Corpo de Bombeiros de Coloane.
According to Mr. Cheong, SPP2255-Lek Chai lives with his mother in the mountains behind his working area and usually they are wandering near, looking for food.
Lek Chai was sent to a clinic for further examination.
He has severe Demodicosis which lead to skin lesions, skin infections and hair loss (alopecia) with some diffused bleeding wounds over his body.
SPP2255-Lek Chai stay in the clinic for treatment.
