Anima–April Sad News (558-Chi Ma)!

558-Chi Ma (M), around eight years old, was rescued by Anima on 3rd March 2012 and has been with us until now.
Recently, he was found bleeding from his nose.
After a blood test and an X-ray, the results showed that Chi Ma has a very high infection due to an inflammation inside of his nose.
558-Chi Ma was sent to a clinic for further examination.
Results revealed that his right nasal cavity and the paranasal sinuses has malignant tumors.
According to the vet, surgery is not recommended due to the invasiveness of the surgery, unpleasant recovery period and might have a fast reoccurrence of tumor burden.
Chi Ma was suffering from Cancer.
After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made the sad decision to put him sleep.
Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is never an easy decision!
