Anima–December Rescue (C2673-Rami)!

C2673-Rami (F), around six years old, was rescued by Anima on 2nd December 2021, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a cat has fallen from a height in Rua Norte do Canal das Hortas.
She sheltered the cat and tried to find the owner, but no one claimed it.
According to a resident, this is not the first time that animals have fallen in the area.
C2673-Rami was sent to a clinic.
The elbow of her right front leg was fractured, and she needs a surgery.
IAM has been notified and promptly found the owner.
According to the owner, the cat escaped from a hole in the fence of the balcony.
At first, the owner accepted to be held accountable for the medical expenses, but later refused to take responsibility for the cat, due to the surgery costs.
Rami’s ownership was transferred to Anima today and once recovered, she will be welcomed in our Cats’ Paradise.
