Anima–February Rescued and Deceased (C2540-Catherine)!

C2540-Catherine (F), a cat around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 27th February, 2021 following a call from Mr. Ng reporting that a cat was found lying on the street of Caminho dos Artilheiros in front of Edf. Son Keng Kok. According to Mr. Ng, the cat had been seen wandering in that area for a couple weeks and probably fell from a height.
Catherine was rescued by our team and sent to a clinic for further examination. X-ray results showed that both her left front leg and mandibular symphyseal were fractured. She also presented internal bleeding, pneumothorax and hematoperitoneum. Catherine stayed hospitalized and we were advised that a surgery could only be performed once her health condition stabilized.
Sadly, we were later informed by the clinic that Catherine didn’t survive her multiple injuries.
