Anima – June Sad News (1528-Paulina)!

1524-Paxton, 1525-Payton, 1526-Parker, 1527-Paulette, 1528-Paulina and 1529-Pauline were rescued by Anima on 21st September 2015, in Coloane, after a call from Mr. Edgar.
They were alone and no mother was found at the place.
1528-Paulina was adopted on 26th October 2015.
Later we were informed by the adopter on 7th May 2017, that 1528-Paulina was not eating for two days and was unable to move.
The adopter brought 1528-Paulina to a clinic for consultation but nothing could be done.
Ms. Lai asked us to help as the condition of 1528-Paulina was not improving and she couldn’t afford the expensive bills.
1528-Paulina was brought to Anima for consultation, she did a blood test and the result showed she was anemic and had an infection.
She was delivered to a clinic for further examination and a x-rays showed there was a tumor in her kidney.
1528-Paulina was transferred to another clinic for second opinion on 8th May.
According to the vet, she had a cancer in her kidney and already spread to liver.
She could only survive around one month.
1528-Paulina was returned from the clinic on 13th May 2017.
We could not do better.
We kept her until today when she entered in pain.
By a vet favorable opinion, our supervisor opinion and two board members decision, the last one our President, we decided to euthanize Paulina.
